Hello everyone, I just got back from visiting Universal Studios' backlot (a privilege when you buy an annual pass to the park. I think...) where I was treated to some footage of Universal's upcoming Incredible Hulk movie.

Director Louis Leterrier and Producers Kevin Feige and Gale Anne Hurd introduced a few scenes from the movie then later talked about the feature and about their vision of The Hulk. I'm not allowed to talk about specifics until a later date, but the footage I saw looked great. We saw about three scenes and they are almost finished mixing the movie, getting it ready for its June 13th release.

For those of you worried about how this film will turn out, and even I had doubts at first, I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. The scene I saw between the Hulk and Abomination was, pun intended, incredible. On the way out of the mixing room I had to say to Louis, "Holy ****, that was awesome."

After seeing these scenes, I'm really looking forward to this film. The Hulk has always been one of my favorite super heroes. And in case you were wondering about how he would be portrayed, I can honestly say that this Hulk seems far more brutal and aggressive in response to a threat than Ang Lee's version. From the few scenes I saw, the insurance companies for this comic book universe are going to have their hands full once the smoke has cleared.

Thanks to the wonderful people at Universal (That means you Lindsey) for the opportunity to get a sneak peek at a few action packed minutes from the movie. Stay tuned for the upcoming interview with Louis, Kevin and Anne and also another article describing what I saw on screen. And yes, they threw in some Marvel universe easter eggs. ;)

Oh no, It's getting positive buzz.

Surely this will lead to an insidious guano infestation.

Yeah! Nice. Let the reviews begin! :D

....wish he'd mention something about the cg....

It's good to hear the footage was well-received, but it'd be lovely if someone from a different site had the same enthusiasm. No offense, but LatinoReview tends to give very one-sided, positive views on film.

I agree. He seems to jump for joy at ANYTHING he reviews.

yeah, he could be Joe Quesada. That guy can push anything with a straight face.

As long as we got people saying good things, I am good with that. All it takes is one person to get the ball rolling. some good vibe would help guarantee some big dollars.

Sounds promising. Why is everything at a later date with this movie? I guess they're waiting for the Indiana Jones buzz to clear out before they unleash their Hulk blitz.

I believe it. This movie will be amazing.

I just hope the cgi will be better for Hulk's ears. I'm really worried... (joking)

Nice to hear the footage is getting some positive reaction.

lol. You obviously haven't read a lot of my reviews.

And the one I got the most hate mail on:

And those are just a few. I probably give more C's, D's, and F's than any of the other guys on the site. My friends think I actually hate movies which isn't true. I'm just not afraid to trash one or praise one.

BTW, the CG for Hulk looked really, really good.

So, my question is since you saw the few action scenes, did any of them actually contain finished cgi worth mentioning and give me a fair but realistic comparison for both Hulks.

El Guapo, you see this in Hollywood, or Florida?

LOL! Every last one of those movies sucked! You could tell they sucked just by looking at the title, the poster or the cast. I just meant you tend to favor alot of Superhero/comic based movies..but GR is one of those movies that NOBODY can say was good.:hehe:

I've heard people defend it.

But El Guapo, prepare to be judged by the Guano Leagues from SHH. Because the CG sucks, and Hulk is going to fail because a 3 month old trailer has unfinished effects in it.

Being far more savage than ang's isn't really that big a deal, ang's hulk wasn't particularly savage and went out of his way to cause little damage and that's only when he was annoyed by those pursuing him. If you put anyone in a desert to cause a fight, you are bound to have minimal destruction.

meh

I wonder if El Guapo saw any character moments. I want this to be better-paced than Lee´s version, but the character´s stuff is still pretty important.
