As of yesterday, he will still be on the show for Tuesday morning. I'm not what he will be promoting though.

Not to mention Regis and Kelly are likely clueless about anything having to do with the show, although I dont think this will be his first appearance on their show.... Could've sworn he appeared on their a few years back too.

He actually appeared on their show twice before, which for him is a big thing considering how few appearances he has made over the years. I think he promoted Smallville once, and then Cheaper by the Dozen the second time.

I saw his interview. It was a puff piece. Still, it was great to see him on TV one last time!

He mentioned how he was hesitant about the role at first when he didn't have enough information. He also said where he was when he learned he got the part (at a gas station). Other than that, there wasn't much. He said that the show has always been about Clark Kent's journey.

Yeah, I just saw it on my dvr, really short spot with nothing much. It's just weird to think this interview was shot about 2 weeks ago, so its obvious they weren't going to talk about the Finale because then the audience would know what happens.

Nope, he shot it two weeks ago when he was in NY. I even remember seeing the pics of him in that suit. He appeared on Fallon and MTV, which are all shot here in NY. I did notice though they showed a shot of rainy streets in NY, and that was live because it hasn't rained like that here in almost 2 weeks.

I'm not sure. I would imagine it isn't live anyway. Probably shot the day before or something.

In other news, Hellcats was canceled, so it looks like Tom is going to have more free time this summer.

I heard about Hellcats this morning. Sorry Tom! I tried to like the show, but I couldn't get into it. I hope he doesn't just disappear after Smallville or stay behind the camera. The man is too amazing to not be on tv or in films.

No, it was shot two weeks ago at the same time he shot Fallon, like someone else said.

I wouldn't doubt they'd do that a lot, of what they called in TV is 'look live'...

I worked in TV news a few years ago and they did a lot of segments (for various different reasons) that were 'look live' packages. They even had fake interactions between the anchors and the reporters...

It probably happens a lot more than you think.

They might not have had space on the show when Tom was available, so they saved him for when they had the time to have him on.

Makes me sad that there might have been more than we saw...

I never watched the show myself.... I think it was quite popular here among the female teenage set.
