we all know with the lastest in the court drama wb has to have a film within production(what ever form of production qualifies for the court) by some time in 2011. Or the siegels can sue them for more money, and then wb would lose the film rights to superman which we know they dont want to lose that bit of things. But since we are still 14 months from 2011 things could easily change within a few months. Plus they probably would want to wait to they get things all set ie writers/director picked before they announce anything. Then plus that big meeting they are due to be having in jan/feb we could get lucky there. Or some other point in 2010. There is still so much time something could happen. If not man it will be depressing if wb does lose the film rights.

Though as i said they still got 14+ months before they would lose the film rights if they dont do anything by what ever the time it is in 2011. But yea if nothing is looking to be going to mid next year they should let smallville be a more open on some restrictions that are still in place.

that rumor has been around since the first draft of the gl script got leaked out. Would be cool if its still stays. But with where superman is film wise for wb/dc its doubtful that it will be in the film. Since they still in all the legal battle over the character, they have no clue what direction they even want to go for another film. Then same goes with casting. Why bother to put a superman/clark kent cameo in when you dont know what direction/actor/type of film the next film will be let alone when another would be happening. When that cameo could easily be switched out for another character within the DC world.

Now if the whole superman lawsuit wasnt happening. Plus if they knew who they wanted for the role and have a fix direction they want to go for next film. Then sure i would totally be down for the kent cameo to remain in gl.

well alot of websites been talking about the Superman cameo in the GL movie including SHH, MTV, moviefoam, etc. The scene was in one of the drafts that showed

yea i saw in the script it was very short and not that descriptive. But like alot know, it was in the first draft of the script. Plus the script has gone through like 5-6 rewrites. So who knows if it ever made it into current script or the shooting draft once filming starts in a few months.

I've never watched 30 Rock before, but after seeing the "waffle/actor" bit that came *before* the scene in question, I now know I never will.

And they say SV is bad? That was just painful. Wow.

Anyhoo, the "Superman" dialog went like this:
