The Official Toronto Thread

I'm with Psycho Symbiote...and I don't even watch hockey. Just share the dislike of Toronto.

Yeah, and with all the gun violence in the city when a movie shoots over there the city goes in a state of emergency!

HI-OH!!!

So... bump?

Anyone else live here/have something to share about this awesome city?

Hairy Tarantula is another good comic store...one on younge street and one on dundas west...

and I'm out of ideas :)

Eat as many hot dogs as your tummy can handle!!!

I had a hot dog from a cart in front of the hospitals last month. It was gross.

Oddly enough, last week I had a hot dog at the Spadina and Bloor 711 and it was great .

Well don't let one hunk of pigeon meat ruin it for you, those hot dogs are damn good :P

p.s. try the sausages too

I live in the Greater Toronto Area. Brampton, but in a few months I'll be moving 2-4 hours away in London, ON. Away from my closest friends, my Mom, my older Brother, and maybe my youngest Brother. :csad:

I've driven by Toronto, but never been inside and I think I'll will be going in August to see a concert, I live in Windsor which is a two/three hour drive away.

Oh. My. God.

I just moved from London ON 2 months ago! Haha.

Hmm... well, I would recommend shopping at Masonville Mall, seeing movies at Rainbow Cinemas in Galleria if you like them cheap, and I highly recommend eating at Archie's Fish and Chips at least once (I love the seaside sampler - shrimp, fish, and fries or onion rings and garlic bread, $7.99 on Wednesdays.)

Other than that... I have no idea.

Toronto! I love T.O. I lived there for most of my life(12 yrs) and just recently moved to Mississauga :down

And Silver Snail on Queen St. I love that place. And theres a small one on Younge St. called Dragonlady Comics, also great.

Yeah Leamington is close I've been there. Windsor is not the most fun place in the world.

You see, this is what you do:

1. Pack your stuff
2. Move to Calgary

:up::up:

Are you going to Western? If so you won't miss them for long ;).

Haha. I currently live in Toronto and that's what I'm going to do (for school). I just have to wait for some paperwork and sort out some stuff.

one thing that's really cool right now, and i went to the first one last night, is the free movie nights at harbourfront. pretty much every tuesday this summer, fully lisenced so you can drink and stuff too. it poured like crazy last night so not a lot of people came out, but it's nice (especially for a date idea) because it's free! some sick movies too, flyer below:

I thought I'd bump this thread. I'm going to toronto for the first time next week. I'm going to medieval times, the mall there, and the cn tower. I'm thinking about going down queen street to see the muchmusic building aswell.

Was there two weeks ago. Went to two tapings of The Hour, if you have a late afternoon free you should go, its at the CBC building right downtown.

MuchMusic was meh, you're better off shopping Queen.

Il Fornello (a couple of them in Toronto) has delicious food at reasonable prices, reviews are true they have the best pizza.

If you go to Hockey Hall of Fame, buy ticket online to get $5 off your picture with the Stanley Cup.
