Welcome to Toronto!
Have you tried Yorkdale? And where are you originally from?

Well, it's just about patio season in TO!
BUMP!!!![]()
The Black Bull is pretty good for people watching on Queen West.
I happened to go there on the 15th for lunch, enjoyed the patio and sun. Service was poor but chicken caesar salad was delcious, an abundance of chicken strips and lightly sauced not saturated.
I like the patio of Jack Astor's overlooking Yonge and Dundas Square.

Is it hard to get a table there? It looks neat but it always is rammed.
I remember going to a cool mall there. And I just remember it being in the summer of 2002 and seeing Men in Black II promotion everywhere.

and we need a Montreal thread, just cuz I'm moving there in a few months, heh

Anyone know of a great romantic (i.e. dark lighting, candles) restaurant or bar along Bloor or within the Annex? I have a hot date happening sometime within the next two weeks...
I was thinking about going to Insomnia at Bathurst and Bloor, but I'd probably be too tempted to order their burger... and I don't want my date's first impression to be me making a mess with a burger.

I prefer AMC or the Grande.

Annex is a bit of a student ghetto, so not a lot of romantic places around there.
.Pink Ranger said:I assume by your posting that you're willing to spend a bit more. There's a great Italian fusion place in Bloor West called Strata that's a great setting.
I resent that.
It's true, though.
I'm not planning on dinner, and I don't usually drink, but I may try a fruity alcoholic drink... in which case, he'd probably pay for it. I'll check this place out. Thanks.
