Also, I have been reading more stories from that book on the Men in Black, some great hairs stand up on the back of your neck stories in there.

Last night I was reading on about this guy who saw a Ufo close up, and a few days later he was in a shopping mall, just about to make a phone call from a public booth.
He suddenly noticed that this section of the mall had no people around at all, which was very strange for that mall. He then noticed two MIB's coming towards him, they asked him 'What is your name?' 'Where do you live?' and 'What is your number?'(weirdly not saying 'phone' number).
the guy refused to tell them anything about himself, and they left the mall.
He said they walked in a very mechanical way, in unison, so he followed them out of the mall, and saw that they crossed over the road into a field going towards a brick wall, he lost sight of them for reasons i can't recall, and then they disapeared, which was impossible from where they were walking last time he saw them.
He walked over to where they had been to see if he could figure out where they went to, and said there were no footprints in the mud at all where he had seen them walking.

According to the legend, Polybius was a game that appeared in a few arcades in Portland, Ore., for a short time in 1981. The cabinet was supposedly completely black (minus the logo), and the game was supposed to be very similar to Atari's shoot 'em up Tempest, except for the addition of Pac-Man-type mazes and logic puzzles, and the fact that it drove people insane. Kids hooked on the game began experiencing side effects like nausea, sleep disturbance and aversion to video games.

Of course, any serious attempt to search for more information on the game is hindered by the fact that people have started building their own Polybius cabinets and trying to re-create the game based on its descriptions. So, basically, they make it look like something that might give someone a seizure:

Of course, it seems kinda convenient that the story of Polybius surfaced only within the past decade or so, presumably when the people who witnessed the events in the first place all went, "You know that mind-****ing video game from '81? In retrospect, that was rather odd." Obviously, the part about the men in black seems like something made up by someone trying to be creepy on a message board.

Nothing is gonna happen, but I can't predict the future. I'd like to know WHO wanted those stones are...
 
What about the one's that can't be debunked? It's sad to think that with all of the educational resources available to us now some people still believe that the government isn't bad and they have our best interests at heart. The U.S. was founded by Masons posing as Christians. If you look at an overhead view of Washington, DC all of the important buildings are arranged in a pentagram, and the hijacked plane heading for the White House on 9/11 was the only one that crashed before reaching it's objective. Bullcrap, I still say that it was shot down by the Air Force. :o
 
Guys, if you guys are into reading into wall street, government conspiracies, cover ups, 9/11 and whatnot, check out the Rogan Experience podcast with Michael Ruppert and Joe Rogan. It's pretty amazing and eye-opening. Ruppert is probably the most credible and reliable CIA insider and whistleblower I've ever heard of and he really breaks down a lot of interesting things..

I won't link to Rogan's site, but it's fairly easy to search for... podcast #170.

People all the time continue to stay skeptical about these kinds of things and ask about the lack of whistleblowers---well, there are actually tons of them, but since the media is controlled mostly by the banks and the government, you have to dig to find them.

Also, if you haven't already, I'd look into watching the film, "Collapse" too. It's easy to find..

Just found this on youtube, a guy finds a portal to travel through time that is under his sink, meets his 70yr old self in the future, and comes back with proof, in the form of footage from his camera phone. He and his older self look the same, if you look at the profile of their noses when they face each other they look exactly the same shape, and they have the same tattoo on their arm(which could be faked obviously, but the facial resemblance is uncanny):

That's just his dad. And the older guy's tattoo isn't faded like it would had he gotten it done decades prior. It looks like the guy just got it done right before filming.

If he had his camera with him, why didn't he film from the very beginning of the whole event? Rubbish.
 
I was talking with someone about the whole ancient astronaut / 2012 subject, and he posited an interesting theory about the whole thing. Don't know if there's any credibility to it but I think it's perfectly plausible in some cases.

Short and simple, the Earth has been under "Galactic quarantine" for roughly 26,000 years. Literally there's some kind of "field" or "zone" (i.e. energy grid) surrounding Earth that prevents interstellar communications to/from Earth by other alien civilizations. This "quarantine" expires this year, 2012, probably Dec. 21st. There's also evidence of this in the "Vrillon transmission" and while some think of that as a hoax it's still not wholly proven one way or the other. I'll post the Vrillon video soon as I can find it.

Ok Scully, so he got the exact same nose as his dad? Where did his mum's nose genes go? Did they meet up in the DNA(Designated Nose Area) of the DNA and decide that he'd handle the lad's nose on his own?
and people can get tattoos retouched right? It is a pretty simple dark tattoo anyways, it may have survived over the years without much fading, also, the time traveller's portal was under a sink, so his arm might have been dirtier than his dad's.


But, aye, maybe it was his dad, haha.

For people keeping an eye on it, every little thing that happens in 2012 is going to be more closely examined than usual. If something major doesn't happen, all the conspiracy theorist's and such are not going to be taken seriously again for quite awhile. Most people don't take such claims seriously as it is now. If nothing astonishing occurs, such claims will now become nothing but laughable to anyone and everyone. I, for one, almost hope something does happen because 40-50+ more years of this monotony is almost worse than the apocalypse.

As far as what it could legitimately be, if anything, that we are bracing for in 2012, the possibilities are many but can be easily summed up.

EARTH BOUND NATURAL DISASTERS:
POLE SHIFT, MASSIVE VOLCANIC ERUPTION, MASSIVE EARTHQUAKES
From what I've gathered on this, all three kinda go hand in hand for the doomsday scenario. If the pole shift occurs we'd then also get volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and more. However, a pole shift would not be necessary for us to be destroyed by volcanic eruption or earthquakes.

The earth, our Earth, is a constantly moving and changing body. Some may
even say it is a living organism. Whether it is a living entity or not is open to debate, what isn't very debatable is that this planet is going to continue moving and shifting beneath our feet and if it's destroyed it's inhabitants before(4-5 times by most accounts) then it will probably do so again.


NON-EARTH BOUND NATURAL DISASTERS:
METEOR STRIKE, SOLAR FLARES, COLLISION WITH A ROGUE PLANET
The meteor strike theory doesn't bother me at all. Things would already be weirder than they are because it'd have been spotted by now. Besides, all we'd need to do is send up some real astronauts and real deep core drillers to destroy the real meteor.

Colliding with another planet is even less likely because I think enough people would be able to see it by now and something would have definitely leaked about it.

Solar flares from our Sun is possibly the most likely of all doomsday scenarios for the year 2012, in my opinion. One burst, if large enough, could cripple the entire planet for a seriously long time. I'm not saying this is what is going to happen but if I had to pick one theory, this could be it.


NON-EARTH BOUND ALIENS:
INVASION/RETURN/FIRST CONTACT
Would they? Did they? Should they?

To look at the sky and think we humans are all there is in this big space is extremely arrogant. The question should be - what is watching us and is it going to do something or not? We tell ourselves and show ourselves over and over that everything in nature is accountable to something higher and answers to something else, yet we insist we are the exception to that. God? Last time people accepted God as our higher power the world was minus about three billion tattoo's.

If 'aliens' were to be the big 'it' of 2012 then I would not be one bit surprised if they do arrive on a long pre-determined date. This is actually the scenario I favor most for occurring on the specified date of 12/21/12 for it'd be the only one that could be set so far in advance.

'Aliens' coming to our Earth and making their selves known to all would be an Earth changing event, no matter the magnitude, but not necessarily a surprise. Afterall, we've been expecting them for awhile and they may have been here longer than us.


HUMAN CHANGE:
CHANGE IN CONSCIOUSNESS, NEXT STEP IN EVOLUTION, RAISING TO A NEW AGE
Things of this nature usually occur gradually and go unnoticed. However, introductions of new 'things' to the species could change all of that. These could also be events triggered by any of the above three, or not. New breakthroughs in technology and science or new discoveries could just as likely trigger such a thing. What won't happen is we will not all wake up on 12/21/12 to an all new world and an all new state of being for no real reason.

That said, what if the world and our species did come to a sudden end? Would we perceive it as this change in consciousness or next step in evolution? I think we might.


CONSPIRACIES:
POPULATION REDUCTION, MASS CONTROL BY A FEW, GLOBAL CLEANSING IMPOSED BY HUMANITY UPON ITSELF
We've already seen, time and time again, that humans are fully willing and capable of killing themselves off. The big question is - is it possible for such a force that is counter-productive to human growth to gain enough power to launch an attack serious enough to escalate into WWIII? Or is it something we will instinctually do to ourselves when we reach a point where this planet will allow us to go no further?

Population reduction, mass control, and global 'cleansing' may be what humanity does to delay and stave off something much worse. Hence the plotting and the conspiracy and the ability to do so despite it seeming counter-productive.

12/21/12 could be a self imposed deadline upon ourselves. If such and such doesn't happen then 12/21/12 is the point of no return and the worst then becomes inevitable.


END OF DAYS:
THE ANTICHRIST, THE SECOND COMING, GOD vs. SATAN
Perhaps 2012 could be nothing more than a good ole fashioned biblical battle, Book of Revelations style. The Anti-Christ is said to be walking among us now. The 'mark of the beast' which he is said to wield and impose is already apparent all over the globe in the forms of i.d. cards, bar codes, and tracking and monitoring of all activities.

If the Anti-Christ were to rise, would Satan, Christ, and God all follow amidst a surreal global experience akin to what occurs in Revelations? This could be the biggest longshot of all the scenarios but it could be the only one that encompasses and surpasses all others.


SUMMARY:
Many bad things could happen to humanity and it's planet in 2012 but that can be said for any year. The scenarios being proposed are mostly worst case scenarios and that is what has people saying 'what is up with bombarding everyone with threats of impending doom upon us all?' Rather than simply 'what is going to happen in 2012?'

In my opinion, what's going to happen in 2012 is that the world of conspiracy theories, UFO's, and Doomsday scenarios is going to end and go bye-bye for awhile - it's going to have to after 2012 becomes one of the biggest choke jobs in the history of choke jobs.

FINAL THOUGHT:
And if it is revealed to be nothing more than one long, huge, and elaborate joke upon the masses by the few... then we turn the tables and put the joke on those few, consider it a good morale booster for the species.
