Was RDJ even in that scene in bed with Bibb? You can't really tell. Could have been a double. I don't think RDJ is big on the sex stuff on the big screen. I don't think they'll ever go that far... maybe allude to it if nothing else.

But Blonsky wasnt fighting for a certain country's cause/beliefs, so he didnt need the accent.

There's no reason to believe Rourke can't pull off a Russian accent.

Mickey Rourke has done accents before. He's an actor. However, this version might not require an accent or a heavy one.

Curious.. I hope that Rourke is really back on his game.. and I hope the filmmakers give him a totally different look in the movie.. Looking at Rourke out in public (and at the golden globes), I’m not sure he’s totally broken character from “The Wrestler” yet..

This is a small nitpick on my part, but I'm kinda hoping that the mention of Rourke's character being named Ivan isn't accurate and they're using one of guys who used the CD armor from the comics. I know there have been so many, so what's one more?

Still, I would prefer they use either Boris Turgenev or Yuri Petrovich, since both had a connection to Black Widow, which they could easily incorporate into the the film.

Not being funny, but a Russian accent is probably the easiest accent in the whole world to pull off. Hell, I can pull of a convincing Russian accent.

^Actually it's not. It's easy to TRY, like the chick in TDK tried(her accent was horrible, BTW). But to make it convincing isn't so easy. Accents should be identifiable but not stereo-typical.
