Comics The Official X-Related Questions and Answers Thread

thought so, least that gives me time to catch up on other things:D

last question, did/is dark avengers replacing the normal avengers title?
Nope. There are now 4 Avenger titles, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Dark Avengers and Avengers: The Initiative (although this one deals with the training of the new heroes in the aftermath of Civil War)

Slight correction, that's actually U-Go Girl, former teammate of Dead Girl.
Thanks for the clarification. If I say she's a dead girl, I wouldnt be too wrong

You guys are talking about X-Force/X-Statix characters...why? Is there a new series or something coming out?! Dish please...!!!
she's on a cover to an upcoming Hercules issue featuring various dead Marvel characters

Dead Girl? U-Go Girl?

And some people make fun of the codenames of some X-Men.

well X-Statix was intended to be a parody of mutant superheroes. those two were both members

Does anybody remember the action figure series from a long while ago "Marvel's Most Wanted"...which I think it should of been called X-Men's most wanted, as the characters were from the X-verse...but I digress...my question was who exactly were Spat and Grovel (I think those were there names)......they were supposed to be included in the Trial of Gambit...so it says on the package...Ones a hot blonde midget girl...the others a weird lizard/dino thing...!!!!....

i remember the characters and they were indeed involved with The Trial of Gambit...cannot for the life of me remember WHY or exactly who they were or where they came from or what has happened to them since

and just WoW@"hot blonde midget girl"

What are the best Weapon X storys/trade to read? one featuring Deadpool would be a plus. also sabretooth:D

Spat and grovel were both bouty hunters. Spat used to be partners with Gambit. One time (I forget the circumstances) some alien weapon was fired at Gambit but she jumped in the way to save him. The weapon caused her to de-age into an 8 year old (or a hot midget if thats what you like to call 8 year olds lol)

Think she was cured eventually, and they were only in about 5 issues in total... you'd have thought after winning the Marvel Most Wanted poll someone at Marvel might have thought that people liked them... and not instantly cured her and sent them off into limbo for ever.

Can anybody recommend me some good Gambit stories to read? I know he has a couple tpb's that are oop. are they even worth hunting down?

I know...they supposedly won a poll...but I had no Idea who they were?...till now...lol...she's supposed to be 8 or at least deaged to 8...whoops...lol

Is there a reason GenX is not mentioned with Emma's past in the current titles? It seems currently, when her past is referenced, she goes from being the White Queen of the Hellfire CLub, to Genosha, to joining the the X-Men...Gen X is never mentioned...well not just with Emma but almost all the Gen Xers? Are we supposed to just forget about that period or am I forgetting anything that has been said about GEn X?

And I never read it...but were the mutants listed and apart of the 198 supposed to be the definite be-all end-all of mutantkind...I know I'm a few years late ok...and know of some of the more recent happenings in the X-Verse...but just wanted some info?

Nope. I have no idea why Marvel ignores it. Husk and Jubilee both joined the X-men shortly after Emma did and they didnt once have any scenes together nor was their history with Emma mentioned. M and Emma shared panel space during Messiah Complex and nothing was mentioned either. I guess they try and forget that aspect of Emma's life bc she actually had a heart then and was written as a decent character, which doesnt jive well with the ice cold b--tch that Morrison was portraying her at the time

198 was the rough estimate of known mutants left in the world following M Day. There are many more than that. Messiah Complex showed that they werent the end all of mutant kind as a new mutant baby was born

Is there a TPB that deals with rogue leading her x-men while prof x is off world? also what issue/arc/series does bishop get his robotic arm?

Respectively...

X-Men "Supernovas"

Cable "Messiah War"

I dont think its been mentioned in the books yet, but has there been any word on whether the current Lady Mastermind in Uncanny X-men is the original or a clone? Has Fraction said anything about this in any interviews? She died in Messiah Complex, but she was a Maurarder and Sinisiter has a history of cloning them. Many of them have died several times and the explanation was that those were clones.
