I know there are numerous ones of random X06 news, but I'm gonna be updating until I go to work later today.

As you already know, from THWIP*'s thread, Doom is coming later today on the Arcade, so I'm not gonna mention that anymore!

Now, some stuff that I am gonna be listing is just rumored, for another hour and ten minutes, till it kicks off.

Halo 3 is gonna be shown with a new trailer. Rumor is that there will be a closed-doors multiplayer demo at the event.

Here's a bigger list of possible things:

-HD-DVD player price and release date revealed

-Fable 2 will have multiplayer

-New dashboard update, which will allow XNA users to test out their games on their 360.

-Halo 3 will also run in 1080p.

-Rare is rumored to be showing Killer Instinct 3!

That's what I did.

Yup. That where I went. It didnt play

Edit: It plays. I have a plugin in firefox that allows you to save videos from youtube and sites like these and used it at the test area and it gave me the link for the video which opened mediaplayer and streamed the video.

Fable 1 was supposed to have co-op but it was pulled at the last minute.

Molyneux said first and foremost Fable 2's development would make the promises on Fable 1, and expand from there, so I guess it's not really a "surprise".

Rare will show more than one game. The JFG team has been doing Kameo II since 2005, and the FPS team has been doing something since then as well, and the Conker team has been doing a new IP since Live and Reloaded, so they have several games that should be showable by now.

I HOPE 'KAMEO 2' IS BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP FOR THE '360', WITH A NEW ENGINE, AND EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE GRAPHICS. IF THEY SHOW ANYTHING FROM THAT DURING X06.....OR BEFORE X-MAS......IT WOULD MAKE EMILY SO HAPPY.

1) Splinter Cell 5 is an Xbox 360 exclusive (i.e. the Splinter Cell scheduled after "Double Agent")

2) DOOM is now on Xbox Live

3) Peter Jackson forms a game studio

4) Ensemble is making a Halo RTS!
