I got in line on Wednesday night, and had to sleep in a leaky tent smaller than a restroom stall during the rain. I was 8th in line and there were only 6 PS3s, and the first four people in line were all scalpers.

Tell us your sad story as to what kept you from getting one.

First wave of systems usually have many defects, there is barely any good games (many don't have enough research and time to tap into the system's true power), and you wasted all that time. sigh, i was so ****in close to getting my hands on one.

one of my friends told me their store recieved 4 more PS3's. I drove there at fast as I could, I'm talking 80mph on 45 limit, got there in 10 min, just in time to see 4 bastards in line waiting to pay for it. sigh, I was ready to knock one of them out and run for the hills. i'm going to cry.

Your right, I'm not getting a PS3 until Summer 2007. But your right about the first systems being defective. Only stand in lines if your waiting for a good movie.

I will wait until the PS3 comes down in price a few $100 bucks like I did with the PS2. By that time maybe they will have a version of the PS3 that has a disc tray that comes out like the PS2 or is top loading like the newer models.

I had my brother Ricky go to the BestBuy right next to their apartment. He waited from thurs morning at around 8am. He got a 60g version.

I had my brother Jay go to the BestBuy about 30 mins from their apartment. He waited from thurs monrning at around 845am. He got a 60g version.

I had my roommate (freeloader really, doesnt pay anything) wait at the BestBuy about 5 minutes from my place. He waited from thursmorning around noon. He got a 60g versions.

I have sitting next to me, 3 Playstation Three's, all 60g american versions.

Though I am about to go get in line for a Wii.

Funny how people are actually willing to waste so much time, money and energy in procuring the first batch of a piece of hardware which will most likely have it's fair share of defects and doesn't even have any good games to begin with, at least not any worth that much.

So while they first 10 we're standing in line paying for their PS3s, the other 15 were right behind them, waiting for someone to have a declined credit card. One guy's card was actually declined and people began to cheer...until he pulled out his spare card and paid.

I'm glad i didnt get mine yet, pc richard was soposed to get them in but didnt. so now i have to wait for second shipmeant but im glad because there might not be as many defects.
