People have mentioned that they would like to do an "event" like the Nickelodeon avatars but with Cartoon Network characters. I discussed it with Colossal Spoons and thought it'd be a good idea to start one. So the purpose of this is to start garnering some interest. What time frame of CN Cartoons should we use? What shows should be showcased? Who would like to take part? I will update this post with info as we decide. All suggestions and questions are welcome.

Spoons has provided a link that list all the shows CN has aired. Anything that was on in the 90's and before is pretty much fair game. Give it a look.

Johnny Bravo...He's too cool for his own good.

I miss these cartoons. When I was in Italy last year, I watched their Cartoon Network equivalent (one of the few channels in English). It was nice to see these cartoons again.

It sucks how CN is ditching their "All Cartoon" format.

does Thundercats count? I used to see that show on cartoon network.

I call dibs on Harvey Birdman.

hmm so i guess ill pick Dexter ....no wait i call dips on The Justice Friends

Real adventures of Jonny Quest Or the Superfriends...

Considering this is Old School I would suggest we stick to toons from say the 90's back

Courage the Cowardly Dog I think should qualify.

Super friends is about as old school as it gets :/ TRAOJQ was pretty old as well.

Was Ed Edd and Eddy in the 90s???

i assume old skool would be anything that was before courage the dog and samuri jack...surely thats what it should be anyhow...

Would Adult Swim shows count too? Cause then you can have Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Brak Show, etc.

I would say shows like Venture Bros, but I think it is too new. Harvey Birdman is a spin on old characters, so while new, I think I'd give it a pass.

Courage started in 1999, Most if not all of the Adult swim cartoons started in 00's

Space Ghost Coast to Coast I think was the 90's, so that should at least count.

I want my Batmantis avy :o
