Sergio Ramos is an absolutely incredible defender. What kind of arrogance is this to act like it's not even a debate.

Sergio Ramos was a very good defender in his prime, who also happened to score a lot of goals. He was never the world's best defender, and while Van Dijk has a ways to go to be consider top 10, his last two seasons are much, much better then Ramos' best two seasons.

I don't rate Ramos as a top tier CB or defender, he's erratic & rash, that's why he has 20+ career red cards & if either of you have watched La Liga with any sort of regularity in the last 10 years you'll know he should have probably double that with some of the stuff he's got away with.

He's had a great career & I'd go as far as to say in his prime he was good/very good, but Darth's hit the nail on the head, he's never been the world's best defender.

Butt****ed raw by Spurs yesterday and now the rotting corpse dumped in a shallow grave by Woodward and his paymasters, Cavani is a has-been bum and the 2 wingers are complete unknowns, one of which we've paid stupid money for and wont arrive until January. Telles is a decent buy but I need a break, I turned the game off at half time yesterday, never done that before. The club is a rotting carcass at this point

Ive watched a couple of videos of the players we've signed and all the highlights are them playing in parks rather than stadiums
