For some weird reason I would love to see Tim Roth or Nathan Lane.

Plus Tim Roth he has been in a CBM before he was in The Incredible Hulk so to see him play The Penguin would be interesting but how about Johnny Depp as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin? Depp has experience playing weird and quirky characters

I think Gad is just teasing. He's obviously there for a reason, but if he was playing Penguin, I doubt he'd be so blase about giving that away.

Jonah Hill as Penguin would be an interesting choice certainly not one that is popular but one that would be interesting because it is an outside the box pick like think Heath when he was cast as Joker...I think if Hill were cast as The Penguin he would totally disappear into the role and actually make this Penguin worth watching

The thing they seem to want us all to think it is? Not necessarily.

I think the Penguin aspect is a misdirect. Though I also don't really know what else it could be.

It's more of a preference thing. I am really not keen on having a Penguin that is younger than Batman. It doesn't help that Gad looks almost ten years younger than he actually is.

Yeah. Gad's got almost a decade on me and probably could still successfully play my age group.

Not sure about Gad as Penguin. He's got the look and everything, but I don't know if he can act the part.

Then again, I wasn't sure about Danny McBride getting cast in Alien: Covenant and I thought he did a great job in a more serious/dramatic role

I would never underestimate a comedic actor/actress in a more dramatic role, but Gad really is where I may have to draw that line.

He's likely not going to stick out from previous villains, that's for certain.

Nah... I'm sure he's just doing that because he's signing up to play J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man Homecoming sequel
