It needs to happen and we all know it.

I like it better when we see him in a couple episodes. Clark should be able to do things on his own now.

The reason MMH is so good on the show, is because he is rarely present. It has allowed for less dissolution of his character by those evil Smallville daemons.

yea i do lvoe phil morris on the show and in all his episodes he has been great in. Cant wait to see him again in episode 12, and i do hope they get him in one or two more episodes past episode 12. I would love if he was a regular say if we get a 9th season. But i somewhat agree with you guys if he was around more they would probably mess him up somehow.

How could they mess him up anymore? They've already screwed up his character horribly, making him Jor-El's lapdog/puppet. I think Phil Morris does a good job with the role he was given, but his role is not the Martian Manhunter.

Phil Morris could get a Detective show that could make Teal'C cry

How exactly is MM on SV "Jor-El's lapdog/puppet?" He worked as a bounty hunter for him and swore to look out for Clark as a silent guardian. (Jor-el even told him not to intervene, but he did anyway)... How does that make him a lapdog or puppet? And outside of his expository dialogue about Krypton, I dont think MM has even had any scenes with Jor-El.

It's also pretty much the same storyline he had in the animated JLU so I also dont understand how his character is "messed up?"

Every time the show changes some aspect of a character, fanboys agitate their fists and shout how could they....!!

MM is fine, well written, Phil Morris does a great job.
