OK here are some questions, I hope someone we good knowledge can help me on.

I'm getting a Macro lens for Xmas. I'm willl to spend 300-400 on it. Any tips on what great Macro lens are out there? I have a Nikon D50.

I'm thinking of doing freelance. Not sure how to go about it. Do I get take pictures on events and send them into a paper or what? I asked about jobs in a newspaper, I was told to go to this site http://www.press22.com/index.asp it's a photography agency. Should I email them about work, the editor at the newspaper just told me to go there without telling me why.

I'm looking into photography group meetings at the moment and contests.

What a spooky empty park. It looks so barren and deserted, there aren't even any footprints :S
