the feedback i will give you....is that those are amazing...especially the hogwarts one
and the toy story one

Beautiful pictures especially the castle and animal ones. :)

do you have a really good zoom or just had really good seats?

a little of both, for that set i was about 12 rows back with an 18 times zoom.

My Canon EOS 1000D DSLR arrived yesterday... a week earlier than i was told, which was nice :D

Did a lot of messing about yesterday.. just getting used to the weight and everything...Took this image of the instruction booklet using a 18-55mm lens on 'Close Up' mode -

Dr. Lee,

Awesome! Have fun! This is the exact camera I have, and funny enough I just ordered (Finally, at any rate) off camera flash, and a wireless trigger. =) I'm hoping my flash comes in time before we head to the Gila here so I can get use to the flash. Either way, this is a good "intro" camera, and I've been enjoying it greatly since I got it last year.

i upgrade about a couple of months ago from a 400d to a 60d. lot of cash but so worth it :D

Slightly sitting out of focus, but i still think its cute :D

I received this camera for Christmas. I was playing around with it's "Super Macro" mode. Here's a couple pics I took with it.

Pretty simple shot, right? Just War for Cybertron Optimus Prime.

In this one, however, his bumper is actually TOUCHING the lens!

God, i love "Super Macro" mode!

CC,

Hehe. That's all right, it doesn't really matter who is behind the camera, even if it's P & S. It's their knowledge of how to take a picture that matters, really. =P Granted, DSLR's do help the creative side of things, tho. You can get a entry level pretty cheap, with kit lenses.

Dr. Lee,

Getting a little more use to it, eh? That 2nd one seems a little OOF to me with the over all lighting, and I would guess with flash for it seems a bit "harsh." Either way, keep shooting and I would recommend Tripod, and Hot Shoe flash if you want to get serious for amateur.

Personally, I'm saving up for strobist stuff and it's going to cost me about 400 some bucks, but I think it's going to be well worth it. I hope to have it by end of next month, I'll take a few snaps as I mess with it and see what turns out. Hehe.
