Evil,

Nice as always! =)

Just a small update with my new flashguns! Weeyah!

Wife with a little bit of PP, but shot with the new flash guns. I don't recall the exact settings I used, but I believe key light was 1/4 and the fill light was 1/16 give or take a setting. I know there is some black clipping, which I plan to get another trigger to use my other gun for as a hairlight or background. Just depends what I need to do.

This is my new flash guns, just testing them out and sorry for the mess. Got all the stuff out, and then the kid tossed a shirt or two into the mix. =D

Here is a few I did of a co worker, and my first time shooting someone else bsides my family.

The last one was the general area I was shooting in, and using the flash guns.

What did he do in that 3rd picture? LOL

Nice set of images :)

Dr. Lee,

Thanks. This was over a period of 2 to 3 hours, which we did really had a lot of fun, and it's already bringing me possible cliente, which was the point. =) Just see how far it really goes, of course since I do have a few others lined up. End of this month will be a event for my direct boss. Lookin' forward to that one!

They we're just goofing off while I was and they didn't see I was ready yet nor did I tell them to get a natural shot, which I achieved. =) One of my fave's by far that I did that day.

All right,

Giving this thread another bump! Tomorrow is the bosses event, and to be honest I'm getting a little nervous for I checked out the venue, it's going to be a real, real challenge due to how many people are there. =/ Plus, I don't have a bracket yet. Weeee.

Anyways, yesterday I went fishing with a buddy of mine to get outta the house for awhile so I took my camera, and tripod and took an attempt at time lapse for a first time. The sad part was I had to use 2 ND filters to drop it down to a stop that I wanted. Total ended up being 2.1.

3 outta 6 came out really well, so good ratio, IMO!

35mm film? Nice. That's what I learned on, back in the day as I'm still getting back into the swing of things here.

What I've been struggling with is bouncing flash as of late, cause I hate that blown out look. I got OCF down, but on camera is a totally different beast. Ha!

I also got a monitor calibration tool, and WHOA lemme tell ya I can tell the difference in the colours, and they are really are more like what I shot in the camera. It's nice, and paid the price for it, tho. 70 some bucks. It's suppose to help with printing too when ya get lab's profiles. Man, really does strike me I need to start saving for those new glass. =/

I'm planning on moving up to OCF by buying a 2nd speedlight and a remote transmitter.

But for now I'm just playing with my custom settings to better shoot action. I finally replaced the monopod I lost, so I can't wait to try shooting with a telephoto lens at 1/300 sec.

I'm also researching chromatic distortion.

Shot at the Grand Canyon, sadly I couldn't stay longer due to a whining spouse. =/ I really wanted to take sunset shots, and maybe I'll go back in a few years with a friend since he hasn't seen it either, and do a camping trip or something outta of it.

For the dark blue skies, used a CPL.

This one I had a little bit ol' fun before the works started.

Sadly, I had a lot of light pollution. =(

Dr. Lee,

Thanks! I might make an attempt tomorrow, or sometime next week looking down Cruces from the Organ Mountains while streaking US 70. We shall see, and find a good location where noone will hit me. Hahaha.
