glad you like them guys, i never did studio work at college either i only really started when i joined a photography club, i would suggest it. if you can get a decent on in your area

Recently I've been using my manual lenses on my Nikon F100. I forgot just how great a 50mm lens can be, even the manual one I've got. There's a nostalgic feeling to turning the aperture ring directly instead of using the command dial.

Anyway, I've been playing with copy stand photography. I also tried shooting pictures of my bookbinding projects. I don't know why they ended up over-exposed, but I'll practice again once I've got other books made. Perhaps I'll try the Kodachrome since it's officially being phased out.

I tried out the 1600 ISO Fujifilm. Under low light conditions it seems to be less grainy when I overexpose by 1 F-stop.

guys i decided to rework my actual physical portfolio, how many shots do you think should be included in it. i'm thinking 20 sleeves for that's 2 shots per sleeve a4 size.

I asked my friend to let me take some pictures of him for some own personal experience in portrait photography, and we got these done a few days ago. A very interesting experience I'll say, directing him and whatnot haha. But I'm pretty thankful he was cool with this 'cause this was one aspect of photography I never tried out yet. I had all these ideas I tried to come up with beforehand and it turned out to be pretty fun in the end. Here's a few of my favorites from the shoot (I had just under 200 pics altogether, and picked out about 40 of my favorites for an album)
