Is the book even in print here in the states? I couldn't find it anywhere when I was in three different bookstores this past weekend.

I found it pretty easily in my Borders. They can order the book for you, or you can always find them on Amazon.

Wow, The Black Dahlia gets very negative reviews :(

It just looks like this year won't be so good for thrillers. I am getting worried about The Prestige  :(

You get too easily worried based on reviews. Cool it man.
Take a look at this again to refresh your memory

Christopher Nolan
Christian Bale
Hugh Jackman
Michael Caine
David Bowie
Andy Serkis

a "new trailer"...it's really a sped-up copy of the previous trailer with some new quick shots

This trailer also played at the end of "House" on tv Tuesday night right before 9pm. So can we also call it a 1st tv spot ? If so they choose a good spot to show the first tv spot House is constantly one of the top rated shows on tv.It was a real suprise to all of the sudden see an ad for it.I bet if there are any other new ads they won't give away any more than what we have seen.

TV-spot was awesome, it had enough new scenes and action.

But another trailer was just a quick copy of 1st trailer without anything new.

Can't wait for this movie

Does anybody know what the Israeli release date is for The Prestige? I'm in Israel for the year, and I really HAVE to see this movie. HAVE TO.

IGN posted an article about their trip to the sound editing

I like the idea of exploring the structure of magic tricks in the narrative structure of the movie. There´s a nice episode of The X-Files that explores that idea too - The Amazing Maleeni - in which the magic trick actually turns out to be an elaborate heist plan. But the tone was much lighter than The Prestige seems to be.

Ummm... no. But I doubt it will be released in Israeli before January comes.

Thank you, pics look great.

And here is the answer:
The whole movie is very different from the book, but it doesn't make it look bad, does it? As I remember, Olivia at first starts working for Angier and then Angier asks her for becoming some kind of spy to Borden to finally know the secret of his electricity trick. But then, Olivia falls in love with Borden and betrays Angier with the secret.

I love the newest TV spot, and the pictures are looking great too. I'm looking forward to this more and more with everything that is released for it. I'm not putting too much stock in that The Black Dahlia's bad reviews, all I look at is that 1. Nolan was nto directing that 2. Bowie was not in that 3. The story was nowhere near as cool as this one!

I'm reading the book in the present (I know, weird wording) and I'm lovin' it!

When I ordered the book, I started reading the first sentence and it hooked me from then on. I just have one question, I'm not that far into the book (I'm on chapter 7 of Borden's section) and who is Christian Bale playing? I'm guessing it's Borden.

Oh, and if you want to order the book, a new book is going to coincide with the movie so if you want the original, you may have to order it and it may take awhile (mine took a month to get in).

I saw a little display at the theater today. It was a 4 sided box, similar to the way the old telephone booths are shaped. Each side had a different character appearing through a clear window, I think maybe there was supposed to be a light in the center of it or something. It had the whole cast liste on it and such. The only two sides I saw were Bale and Jackman's. The other were turned against the wall (it was in a corner). Nice to know there is "some" promotion out there for this (I've hardly seen any).

I'm hyped for this movie. Looks very solid.
