AmazinUncleBen said:Their rivalry lasts over 20 years in the book. Their entire history is framed by the story of their 2 great grandchildren's meeting, but the movie doesn't seem to include them. I only bought the book 2 days ago and couldn't put it down till I finished, if anyone is wondering whether or not to read it, you definitely should. I don't read often and this book restored my love of literature (at least for a while). I can't wait for the movie now.

Cinemaman said:Yeah, it is intersting how they will begin the movie without including grandchilds of the main characters.
And as what I have already seen, I think Nolan will change some details and include some his own stuff in the movie.
I think it will work, because there was nothing new or changed in DVC and Narnia, and that is why I hated DVC and was just fine with Narnia.
AmazinUncleBen said:I trust Nolan will make the best adaptation of the book possible, books just can't be directly translated to movies without being 7 hours long. The one thing I'm really curious about is how Nolan is going to show the different perspectives of the same events between Angier and Borden
