Why were Destro and cc moved from the Flagg to the sleep/water prison? Also, was that prison run by US government? I'm guessing not since Snake Eyes was being taken there, but I wasn't sure if that was explained.

I think it was explained as an underground maximum security prison in Germany, or something to that effect.

Why was Destro left behind at the prison escape?

At the end of the first movie, Cobra Commander turns McCullen into Destro and puts him under his control. Then both are arrested.

In the the second movie, Cobra Commander is freed and suddenly says that Destro is no longer part of the team.

Logic?

What has Destro done to deserve this?

I found it interesting that they were intending to place snake eyes in the prison without a trial of any kind. Similarly I find it interesting that cc and Destro were put in the prison with those conditions (perpetual unrelenting torture) for perpetuity and without a trial. Why not a military execution?

What ever it is, it still looks cool for me.
