Snake-Eyes costume ruined?

You wrote an entire paragraph of stuff that was making me feel depressed... But then at the very end, you said something that makes me optimistic?

I guess I'm one of those "fake fans" since I loved TF.

....what was even remotely optimistic about my post? Unless you wan't GI Joe to suck?

I have a feeling, I could be wrong mind you, but I think they will do what was done with Voldemort's make up ...rather than do the prosthetic thing..the erased his nose and replaced it with slits digitally..so...if you take into consideration Parks has to breathe...and that most if not all publicity shots of our favorite "commando" do not show his mouth..at all..but it is hidden in the shadows...and it isn't unreasonable for a film to have a small item like a nose or mouth digitally altered throughout the film....it is a good possiblity it will be erased...my 2 cents worth at least....

I understand the context of the shots and all and that it will look different on film.

I still don't like the look of the molded open mouth, I think costume designer says its because he's "still human".

But notice how all the posters seem to almost purposefully obscure or block the open molded mouth like they almost don't want people to see it.

This may sound odd, and before anyone flmaes me...I just ask that you have an open mind. When I first heard Ray Park was cast as SNake Eyes, I like everyone was happy. However as a long time GI JOE fan and JOE comic collector, I realized he may not be. The reason i say this is because he is 5-9. Snakes is portrayed as taller than Storm Shadow and as lean as well. When i gave this though (and here is where people will flame me) I thought Freddie Prinze Jr. The REASON I say this is not because I think he is a great actor, but that he has an extensive martial Arts Background and his god father is Robert Wall who was a Heavy Weight Kick-Boxing champ and world renowned Martial Artist. If you think of it this way, he will not have to speak since snake's is mute. And we will not see him (skin to how Edward Norton played the King of Jerusalem in Kingdom of Heaven) and he has martial art skills and has the body type. Just my opinion but I still have love for Ray Park but hate the costume. I think the overly tight top body suit and the baggy pants looks dumb. they could have done a better job.

Notice in almost all the promo material, his face is photoshopped out? What the hell, they go through and do a sculpted face, then don't even promote it after they made a drastic step? All he needed was a simple backlava, they overdid it, now they don't even show people how it really looks.

I better not see that mouth open...
