I always thought Jon Hamm would be great in a film series.

I dont see him doing TV or Netflix Punisher, which is where I see the character going. Sullivan Stapleton seems like a good choice for a tv show, havent seen him act, Ive been meaning to see 300 and Strike Back

Although it's hard to cast anyone since we could be talking 5, 10, 15, 20 who knows how many years before there's another Punisher production so a lot of good choices become terrible choices after awhile.

Thomas Jane shouldn't be an option.
Marvel Studios is always intent on starting fresh and recasting someone who played the character for another studio would just cause confusion, same thing with Lundgren and especially Stevenson who already is in the MCU.

Interesting choices overall, Gyllenhaal seems too pretty to me plus I want him as Moon Knight for some pervasive reason.

I like the idea of Holt, Joe and Karl but ultimately I feel like Farrell could be fantastic, he has the look about him and I feel like he's matured as an actor.

I really liked Jane,but I imagine Marvel will want a clean reboot,so I picked Manganiello.

Thomas Jane really was perfect casting. A shame he couldn't have done more with the role. He's such an underrated actor.

I don't think we'll see another film. I can't ever see Marvel/Disney producing a violent Death Wish-esque R-rated film. Like Daredevil, I see Punisher's future in television. They already tried getting a Punisher show off the ground with Fox. Netflix is our best bet.

I think if this round of Netflix shows is successful then Punisher, Moon Knight, etc. will be up next. Im guessing Defenders comes out like 2017. Punisher will come out after that Im guessing

Frank Grillo would have been PERFECT. He basically played Frank Castle in The Purge Anarchy. But he's Crossbones now, and he did a great job there.

Grillo would be excellent, and now that Crossbones is disfigured and maskbound and most likely due one more appearance at best, I would not rule him out.

I want them to pick an actor that is true to the source material. A late 60's Sicilian with a heavy Queens accent.

I would pick Stevenson only because I liked his voice over work in Super Squad.

Why the #$%^& is Dolph Lundgren on here? Is that a joke? In 1989 when I heard he was going to play a superhero I thought they were casting for Thor!!

Someone needs to dig up Michael Pare.

Holt is forever my top choice. Frank Grillo would also be great, though that probably can't happen since he's Crossbones. Who knows, though. Frank indicated on Twitter that he has no idea if he even appears in the next Cap movie, and I doubt Marvel's Netflix stuff with be that closely involved with their films anyway (even though they are in the same universe) so maybe they could cast Grillo as Castle in the Daredevil series.
