Single player easily. I like multiplayer sure, especially now that you can play online, most of my friends don't like video games and we definitely wouldn't spend a Friday or Saturday night at someone's housee playing them. So online multiplayer is my only option, but while fun, single player is the option I'll usually look for. I almost didn't buy Call of Duty 4 since I heard the single player campaign was so short. I love the long single player campaigns, games like Zelda or Metroid. Actually wish companies gave us more games like that with huge 40-50 hours single player quests.
