I don’t know about anyone else, but, ever since the DVD came out, I’ve been hearing a lot of discussion about it from people who only first saw it, and even been hearing some interesting theory’s
(mostly from non comic fans who only know the movies)

Here are some rather odd, but, kinda interesting theory’s I’ve hear from some friends
(is always interesting for me to hear they thoughts on these kinda movie, cause, they don’t know the really comic story , so, it gives them an unique perspective, almost a naïve, innocence’s)

I got this one friend who seems to believe that it was in fact Magneto feeding the names and locations of the mutants to Stryker for them to track down and captured…

I probably wont be able to describe it as good as he did, but, basically the idea here was that Magneto still working with Xavier at the time, but, realizing how different their views on what needs to be done are, what to put together his own group, but, can’t recruit them him self behind Xavier’s back…
Some how finds out about Stryker’s plans (maybe he’s even working with Sabs as his inside man) idk

Anyway, Magneto let Stryker do his recruiting for him, with the plans of later going there to free and rescue them him self (which would help him recruiting them, as they savior)

I know what your thinking, mutants being tracked down , captured and put in cages, is Magnetos biggest fear, why would he stand for this happening???…. Well that’s kinda the point, his fear and hatred for man kinda, stems from childhood experiences in the holocaust, so, what better way to show these young mutant things from his point of view, then to put them in a similar situation

But, his plans kinda went awry when wolverine show up
somehow Xavier found out about Magnetos plans, and that how he knew where to find the kids
(not a completely unreasonable theory, but, very random, not really justified within the plot)

Here’s another one that I found rather interesting…
(but, not really justified, an again pretty random, and certainly doesn’t fit the comics, but, still)

Another friend of mine, seems to believe that the scene (during the opening war montage) when you see Victor carrying a woman into the cabin, assumingly to rape her (speculation), being a reference to Lady Death Strike (from x2) implying that she was Victors daughter (from some random woman he raped and knock up, while out that way)

Though, obviously, not in line with her comic book background story, it would almost make sense for the way she was portrayed in the movie (with her have the same healing factor and retraceable fingernails)
gained she’s suppose to be Japanese, this would make her like half Vietnamese (but, in terms of going strictly by the movies, her race was never really addressed)

Heard a couple different ones about, Logan and Victor’s real father(Thomas Logan) still being alive (having the same or similar healing an ageing factors as his sons)

one that the old man at the farm was actually Thomas

An Another, that Sabertooth from X1 was actually his father not Victor

So, what do you think of these theorys, and has anyone else heard or have any random thoerys you’d care to post

You're right, those are random, hehe.

I haven't heard any theories from anyone regarding the movie, tho I do have one of my own that goes against popular thought (tho it's not exactly random), and that is in regards to Kayla and Logan.

My theory being that Logan and Kayla legitimately met and fell in love (without any intervention from Stryker).

It isn't until Stryker tracks down Logan, and Logan rejects him, that behind the scenes Stryker goes to Kayla, and blackmails her with the information of having abducted Emma that she finally decides to play along.

My reasoning for that is because when Stryker tells Logan that "it was never real", Kayla is quick to address that statement as false, before Stryker threatens her with his gun. It is obvious that what Stryker is telling Logan (in terms of his relationship with Kayla) is nothing more than his typical manipulative lies.

Also, in the alternate scene where Logan decides to have his memory erased, Kayla begins to break down into tears at the sight of the man he loves being manipulated into throwing his entire life away.

That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.
