The REAL Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Just genrealising I think people have taken this thread completely out of proportion and off-topic. I don't care what you have to say about the texas chainsaw massacre movies, I was trying to get input for that idea as a film.

Nerds are so annoying -_- if I do say so myself...

i dont think you understand.
1. there never was a massacre in texas that involved chainsaws.
2. the main influence of the story came from serial killer Ed Gein....which theres ALREADY a movie about! what your looking for, and wanting, already exists!

1. Have you read the first post? The extent of a saw was a jacksaw in a factory.
2. This thread isn't about Ed Gein, it's about the apprently "true" texas massacre performed by a momron, kill two fellow mormons using a jacksaw in his work's factory.

There's a movie directed by tobe hooper called the "tool box murders."

That was a pretty decent movie. There was a couple really cool killings. Especially the huge branch clippers being shoved into the guys back and then snaps his spine.

I don't four counts as a massacre either.

It's the way he killed them that made it a massacre. Although a massacre is a huge slaughtering, hence, massacre

"Hey, I want to see a real movie about Ed Gein. Only this time he uses lots of chainsaws, but like, REAL!" ... LOL

Ugggghhh this new movie is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. so in the beggining there was ANOTHER group of teens that found the house and thats how it all started. How intriguing. Lets all waste more money on totally unimaginative garbage to see if they can get even more unimaginative. TCM 2 rules because they did something else with the characters instead of just having another group of teens find the house..

The remake was pointless, there was already a remake like a year before it called House of 1000 Corpses. Enough is enough.

DERANGED is really close to the story of Ed Gein apparently. Pretty freaky movie.

Fog, I'm glad to hear people aren't just stone-faced cavemen!

One of my best friends acts like every one of these retreads are brilliant works of cinema poetry...

...it makes me wanna, you know, go all Ed Geins n' all on him... or would that be too unoriginal:( (But Ed Geins with a Chainsaw!) LOL

you wanna cut their nipples off and make a belt out of them?? use their skulls as soup bowls?? make masks out of their faces and lampshades from their skin?

your first post seems to imply that the story you speak of had some sort of influence on the original TCM, when it didnt....that movie came from ed gein combined with a bad experience tobe hooper had at a sears hardware store. if you want a movie based on these alleged murders, thats fine....but essentially all your post says is "this mormon dude killed people with saws....i want a movie about that!" what the hell is that? you gotta give us more than that to go on....maybe actually find something out about the murders; names, websites, info.

You are the Prince of Comedy, which was originally loosely based on me, but you're not the "real" one.
