As the 616 universe stands...how do you guys see Eddie Brock reclaiming the symbiote?

Gargan will auction it off... and then Brock will put in the highest bid, say to Gargan (who's not the brightest bulb in the bunch), "Can I try it on first"... and then he'll steal it.

Though to be perfectly honest, I really prefer Gargan Venom to Brock Venom.

I did at first, but since it initially happened, all Gargan does is come off as a cannibalistic monster. Brock always threatened that, but still had way more tact and cunning than i've seen Gargan display as of yet...

Im ready for Eddie to return.

I dont even see gargan as venom..its a completely different character and it has pissed me off to no end that he has been around this long and that they even call him venom. Venom is Eddie/Symbiote not anyone else. It was a sad day in marvel when they decided that the symbiote itself was "venom" and who ever wore it took on that persona. I dont want to delve deeper into this subject because then it will turn into another venom bashers vs. venom lovers thread that so many have before. Love Brock or hate him...he is inevitably getting the suit back and I would like to know how you guys think it will happen

Gargan was badly stabbed by Swordsman in Thunderbolts

we'll see what condition he is in. The symbiote may have no other choice but to go back to Eddie.

I think it 's going to leave Gargan and return to it's original owner, Eddie Brock. From my point of view, it certainly looks that way and I hope it does go back to Brock. Gargan is not a cool Venom at all. He's not as interesting or as badass as the original Venom was.

I dunno I've kinda grown to like Gargan as a "Wannabe Venom". Back in Marvel Knights he wanted the symbiote so bad so he could make a name or rather better name for himself and he thought as the new Venom he could attain that, but hes still the same guy. As time went on during Civil War and Thunderbolts he started to turn into this out of control monster (because of his more willingness to intially accept the symbiote as a "blessing") to the point that Gargan is starting to loose it and realize that he made a big mistake bonding with the symbiote. Now the symbiote totally hates Gargan and sees him more of a pansey than Eddie "Im a Catholic" Brock. Now after the Last Temptation arc, Brock seems to have a control over the "Symbiote" persona in his head and after his realization that no one is innocent, the symbiote might wanna head back home.

At this point I don't see Eddie Brock getting the symbiote again. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if in a later issue it was "revealed" that Eddie passed away from the cancer 'behind the scenes'.

Steve Wacker promised us he had a lot in store for Venom, but knowing him, he probably meant Mac Gargan's Venom (even though when he said this, it was during a 2006 conference in reply to a question regarding if EDDIE BROCK would return as Venom).

Yeah, I also think it would be cool if once Brock gets the Symbiote back, he teaches Gargan a lesson. Just a punch to the jaw, knocking Gargan out. It most likely won't happen, but it sure would be cool.

I'd rather he eat his brains. But that won't happen, either.

More less, I want Eddie to be Venom. And I want Gargan to be Scorpion. The way it should be!

But How about something crazy... TWO VENOMS!!!
Eddie finds out that he's got a piece of the symbiote within him... (the Venom in his head from Back in Black) The piece starts to grow until it is able to create a suit for Eddie... Now we've got a Classic Venom vs Scorpnom battle royale... Winner will try to eat some guy's brains for no reason... (talking about Parker here...)
