Would anyone but me like to see a new YJ team grace the spot of DC now? I mean, I dont see why not. They could bring back Empress and have the team led by Wonder Girl with some new members.

If anyone else would like to see a new YJ team, tell who you would like on the new team.

Me, I want:

Wonder Girl
Empress
Arrowette (or if she's out for good then the new Speedy)
Maybe the new Ray (I know he's with the new Freedom Fighters, but that doesn't mean he can't be with two teams)
Steel (Natasha Irons)
And maybe even a ressurected Slobo in the form of the new Secret (i remember reading somewhere PAD was planning on making Slobo return as the new Secret, which probably would've been a good idea)

I can't think of anyone else.

I'd rather just get a lot of the Young Justice published first. :D

Way I see it:

Empress is angry. She's angry that Wonder Girl disolved the team. She's angry that Cassie let her circle of friends get bogged down by her personal greif over Donna's death. So, when she got a Teen Titans invite, she basically told Cyborg to go **** himself. Now, she's a vigilante, and she and a few other young heroes have begun using the name Young Justice. The book is written by Peter David, and is much more amusing and entertaining than Teen Titans. I am happy.

I don't really care to see Young Justice come back. It was good and it had its time, but it'd be redundant with Teen Titans now. Maybe the Titans East will have a more comedic aspect.

Well, my idea wouldn't be exactly the same as the old YJ. It would be like a member of an indy group forming a new band after the rest of her old bandmates go mainstream. So, they'd be somehwat pig headedly rebelling against the system, even in the instances where there's nothing wrong with the sysetm. The idea of the group would be somewhat similar to Waide's Legion, albiet for a more comedic effect.

I really don't see any of the listed characters in a relaunch of Young Justice.

I've always seen Young Justice as a pre-teen or young teen group, and if it was to relaunch I'd like to see it in that capacity again. Especially since Teen Titans has been dealing with the more adult themes and DC does not need another teen group comic.

Young Justice should have the non-sidekick no-name teenage superheroes and become the rivals of the Teen Titans:

Empress
Arrowette
Lagoon Boy
Secret (regains her powers)
Lil' Lobo (somehow returns)
the Wonder Twins (if DC managed to make Wendy and Marvin cool, they can do the same for the Wonder Twins)
Stargirl

Why is everyone always so adamant about putting Stargirl on another generic teen hero team? She works perfectly with the JSA. She's the pinnacle of the younger generation of heroes the JSA is supposed to be inspiring.

I think the teams right now are just right.

The Teen Titans: Well, y'know, the teens/early-twenties
The Outsiders: The guys and gals in their late twenties
The JLA: The adults, mostly approaching late thirties, with a couple of late twenties thrown in
The JSA: The old guys meshed in with the new. The real mixing pot of elders, late thirties, late twenties and teens.

Young Justice doesn't need to be around.

You can be on more than one team in comic books, just ask the Flash.

Yeah but Stargirl doesn't need to be on two teams. I think it would just water the character down to have her time-sharing.

Plus, the Flash is a bad example. He's always either been Justice Leaguer first and Titan second for all practical purposes, or he's run between two team's missions so fast that it appears he's in both places simultaneously because he's the Flash.

Wally has always said he's a Titan first, no matter what the cause.

Yes, in heart, definitely. When the big Crisis rolls around however, Wally's place was usually amongst the League.

Exactamundo.

The Titans were his family and home, so naturally he'll always be there for them. But anyway, what Corp said.

As for the question of "The Return of Young Justice," I don't see a particular purpose for bringing them back. Only cause as of now, we have the Titans and soon the new East team. However, if some former members of Young Justice do show up again, Lagoon Boy should be a must.

Again, I wouldn't want to see the old team again. Well, I would, but any way to acomplish that would probably too convoluted. I would like to see some of the old, non Teen Titans YJ members form a new team that's basically the indi rock band of super groups.

Eh. Young Justice was probably my favorite non-Vertigo DC series.
I feel like the founders and WG would stay away from any sort of revival, since they were the only ones particularly affected like at all by Donna's death, and whatnot. Sorta lke the Question said, while I'd want the team the way it was, that isn't happening.

theres no YJ without tim, kon, and bart

Very true. And now, one is dead, one is going crazy, and one is powerless and boring. :(

Still, if they were to bring back a YJ title now, I'd rather have it be without the founders and have a different look to it than mucking things up by recreating the old group.

If the team was back, who would you have it consist of?

As I said. Have Empress form a new group. Probably involving Lagoon Boy, Argent, and some others. They're basically trying to rebell against the "mainstream" super hero comunity. You know, the ones who work very closely with the government and are basically cops in costumes like the Justice League, and basically being an indi super hero group. Kind of like what Young Justice was in that streatch where every fed and his grandmother wanted to arrest them. Empress liked those days alot better than what her friends ahve become on the Titans, so she's trying to recreate them. One of the themes of the series is that some "rebels" aren't really rebelling for any good reason besides the fact that it sounds cool.
