I must say, this all worries me a bit.

For one, I hope to God that we don't see him get his cut smile in the bank robbery scene. The Joker "rising to power" and "becoming Gotham's greatest villain" because of some slits on his cheeks? I hope not. I know, I know, that's jumping to a big conclusion. But...still. One scene in which to bring the Joker from a small-time crook to an evil supervillain?

Secondly, I was sort of hoping the "prologue" would be something seperate from the film. Seeing that might spoil some of it. I dunno, it probably won't.

Third..."bat sonar"? Come on. Didn't they do that same thing in BF? I'm really hoping that Batman doesn't become overly reliant on his gadgets. But between the new suit, the projectile blades, the batpod, and the "bat-sonar", I'm beginning to feel like they're shoving this whole "functional" thing down our throats.

First it says that its just the rise of the Joker. Now I've said this a million times but I will say it once more. The most important aspect of the Joker is the fact that he was always insane, that there was no origin to his insanity. In Burton's he did make a origin to that. To me if Nolan gives an origin to his physical deformity, who cares, its not that big of a deal, it still keeps the best part a mystery. Why is the Joker the way he is?

And to your third part, come on, I've been sarcastic in the last posts because its getting ridiculous. There was sonar in some of the cartoons and I remember one of the comics having it before BF. Batman had a lot of common gadgets that were used. Stop making comparisions to BF just to gripe and moan about something. As well Nolan does not just add gadgets with no use/reason what so ever. He makes them believable and something that Batman actually has great use for. As I predict, it will be used for when he drives the Bat-Pod possibly.

Well I've always advocated lenses. I believe BatScot and lujho have as well. So there's at least three .

Anyone who's Anyone and likes or loves Batman

Has always known him to have White Eyes in comics and Cartoons.

This will mark the first time in Cinema history Batman's Eyes will look the way they were created to be.

Not even the Ninja Turtles can say that.
