This will mark the first time in Cinema history Batman's Eyes will look the way they were created to be.

Not even the Ninja Turtles can say that.

Not even the ninja turtles can say Batman's eyes have never been accurately displayed in cinematic history? Disregarding the fact that you worded that wrong, I'll still offer a rebuttal.

TMNT had several shots of the turtles with solid white eyes, marking the first time in cinematic history the TMNT have been portrayed as "comic accurate." Though they've already achieved said look in the new animated series, but you did say cinema, so I won't go into that.

Firstly, there's this shot of Leo stalking Nightwatcher. Sure, he's pretty far away, but those eyes are solid white nonetheless.

So your thoughts now are "Well yeah, he's like 100 frickin' feet away. Pupils at that distance would be ******ed," which I guess you'd have gotten me there, but then why does Leo have solid eyes in the next shot and not in the last? (Though he's the same size/distance in both)

Hate to burst your bubble, but you really should check facts before making statements like that. Regardless of whether or not they're solid white throughout the entirety of the film, they ARE shown as solid white at some point, a clear nod to their darker comic counter-parts.

Heres why I dont care about this:

1. Dumb

The last two pictures I do see pupils.

It's a leaked pic. And that user is about to get a nice BAN for posting it! ;)

I have always been a bit 'meh' about lenses really. I think showing Batman's eyes show a lot of expression. Such is life.
Also good stuff about the Joker prologue...

Is it still that big of a deal? I know it's close to Halloween, but can we not be crying out to "burn the Witch!" over pics that are STILL all over the net? Hell, the Joker make-up pic is on a banner on AICN for crying out loud.

Not saying they are right, but for crying out loud stop prosecuting these new posters for showing stuff here they can see elsewhere.

OMFG! Don't give me this "Get your Facts Straight Before You Post" BS

Listen I know the The Stupid Ninja Turtles have had a MOVIE in which there Eyes were WHITE! But that movie was a F'N CGI CARTOON! Wasn't Live Action.

Jesuse F'n Christ, What I meant and obviously should have stated better....

THIS WILL MARK THE FIRST TIME BATMAN IN CINEMA HAS EVER HAD WHITE EYES AS INTENDED IN HIS FIRST INCEPTION.......

Not even a "LIVE ACTION VERSION MOVIE" of The Ninja Turtles could say that.

Who gives a crap about a CGI Turtles Movie??? of course they could make there eyes white easily its different with live action.

I wish you would get your facts straight before you try and bust someones balls again. :oldrazz:

Live Action - CGI

Two completely different Cinema Entities. That Turtles movie belonged on TV anyways

K... so usually capitalizing entire words is considered screaming... but you only capitalized the first letter of every word. Does that mean you are screaming only the first letter of each word?:yay:

No, that's called Caps Lock and that's the effect it took. Don't ask me why, it just somehow did it that way.

ok again batman had white eyes because everyone in a mask had white eyes. there was nothing more to that.

The fact that he doesn't have a origin adds more to this character.

It makes you and the audience wonder why The Joker, does what he does and what has caused tortured soul to be the way he is. A perfect example would be Halloween The Original One. Micheal had no origin and because of it made the movie and his character better.

That's one way to look at it. But I think it's not only great for fans but for those who aren't fans who are coming to see the movie to show a villain with the method behind the madness. Especially as one as iconic as the Joker. Batman '89 doesn't deliver the origin like it should and this is for a new generation of fans so I think it would be a great addition to have, especially in the 1st showdown between two arch rivals.

There is also a great emotional background story to the character that I'm surprised Nolan wouldn't jump on considering the types of movies he likes to do. With Joker's wife and unborn child being killed and him having to take on the moniker of Red Hood and being involved in a gang to scrape for money for his family so he can move away and give them a new life, etc... All those things make for a powerful and emotional background origin and can actually give you empathy for the psychotic character he becomes. I would say after seeing that in a film and the full transformation of him being the Joker is going to take some audience members and give them that tug-of-war with their emotions, which will make for a better screenplay and movie because then it's more than just the action. I guess it depends on what kind of film you want (all-action) but I like a well-rounded film with a lil' bit of everything in it.

And additional emotional content to Batman losing his parents at a young age makes both characters incredible opposites. They become the epitomy of good and evil. One loses their family and takes the path of the good, one loses the family, and falls into an evil abyss. That's good stuff. That's the TDK I'd love to watch.

But, oh well.

Wha? How can Caps Lock cause only the first letter of your word to be capitalized? Wouldn't all your letters be capitalized if Caps Lock was on?

*busts a nut*

THAT SOUNDS F'N WICKED!!!

White Eyed Batman??????????

5 Min Joker Rising to power footage???????

Batman in Hong Kong Fighting Yakuza??????????

WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

*busts another nut*
Ditto.

I'm the most pumped for the Hong Kong side story. That's a big aspect of the character; that if a criminal plot stumbled into Gotham with international origins Batman would go and nip it in the butt overseas.

Can't WAIT to see that

CFE

Who gives a flying crap about the CGI TMNT movie? I certainly did, but to continue that little debate would digress a little farther off topic than I want. Anyways, back to Batman... he did have the lenses in Batman Forever didn't he? I mean, I'm not sure you could say that's "as intended" but they were there. And as for this Rise of the Joker business, I'm still wondering exactly what it is that we're getting, even with this recent interview claiming it's the first 5 minutes of the film.

I just found another GOOD reason to go see I Am Legend at IMAX (other, than the Dark Knight footage), and it is: I AM LEGEND!!! Did you guys see that new trailer that's on IGN!? Jesus Christ it looks good!
