I remember getting one back when I was like 8, and I worked on that **** every day trying to solve it. I finally did....2 months later. :cmad:

i remember spending like 3 hours on it back when i was about 12 or 13 and i couldn't figure it out

it pissed me off to no end and ever since i haven't bothered to do it again

i've seen videos of people figuring it out in like 30 seconds though :wow:

I got very close to solving one...but ultimately got frustrated and gave up.

On a side note, I think anyone who answers 'The **** is a Rubik's Cube' ought to be banned.

I came close to solving it, took me hours, jus got pissed off and started playing nintendo

I tried to, but then I just ended up using a Rubix solving site.

Frustration always gets the best of me. But my grandpa could solve it in like 2 minutes.

back in highschool it was all the craze my senior year. there are like 6 moves or something? whatevs. sudoku is my game.

Never solved it. Beat it with a hammer and then burned it in the back yard. But didn't solve it.

Never been ablt to solve it but thanks to the internet there are tips, shortcuts, secrets.

Peel off all the stickers and then re-arrange them so that its solved. Pretty simple really.

Or throw it against a wall so it flys apart and put it together correctly. Not that I ever did such a thing.:cwink:

I never tried solving it because I know it would take me a really long time and in the end, it's really pointless. Even if even are around they'll be like 'omg cool' and then 10 min later they'll forget about it. It isn't even a pride thing because I know if I focused on it I'd solve it. It's just really a meaningless thing.

Someone taught how to once. I've since forgotten and do not care.

i memorised a rule set for solving one about a decade ago. which i've since forgotten. the principals i've learnt from that rule set could probably help me determine a rule set again if i wanted to.

It's just really a meaningless thing.

I think since we are all going to be wormfood in the end anyway and not remember anything we ever did in life, everything is meaningless unless we give it meaning now. Movies, cartoons, comics, video games, a job you hate, relationships, etc, etc, blah blah.

I solve them to see how fast I can do it, as a mental "stretching" exercise, like math in your head, but then I saw those kids on youtube do it in like ten seconds, sometimes blindfolded. Yeesh. :wow: That's something neat to try to do in a competition if one can do it.

I got a box full of various solved puzzles like that in my closet. I've always been the type to get a hold of a puzzle of any kind and I won't stop until I've solved it. A couple years ago I spent an entire Christmas day trying to solve a Cuboctahedron.

My bro is really good at them. He's got to the point where he can do them in 4 minutes now.

What? Mad at yourself for not thinking of getting the book to give you a hand?

Never! I've tried a cazillion times man... Haha.
