Have ever been knocked out or knocked someone out?

I was playing first base in junior high (usually played short) during a big rain storm. The practice should've been called but it wasn't. Our third baseman had one hit to him, threw it to me in the dirt. Next thing I know I'm on the ground minus a front tooth. The first thing I thought of when I woke up was to put my tooth in milk like the commercials I saw when I was a kid with a dinosaur.

When I played little league there was a guy we used to call Rubber Arm because his pitches rarely, if ever, were on target. He was playing third base and I was at bat.

I hit the ball long and hard to left field. I take off, around thrid I go. The outfielder tosses the ball to the third baseman. I can see he's getting ready to throw to second baseman. I see the coach on the sidelines. Slide! He signals. Slide!

I slide at the same time Rubber Arm throws to the second baseman.

This is why we wear cups in sports.

I've severly stunned a few people, in boxing they would call it a knock out. And I've passed out, but never had someone hit me and make me unconscious.

Welcome to the hype

Thanks! :yay:

I never imagined back then, sitting dazed and concussed in English class that someone elbowing me in the side of the head would end up being, decades later, my intro on an internet forum...but, whatever it takes. :woot:

I was 8 years old and at a baseball fieldand i saw this other kid throwing sand at a 16 year old, so i threw sand at him too. He picked me up (that part was fun i thought we were playing) then slammed me to the ground. The next i remember i'm being carried off and not in the field part of the park but by the rec center. I figure i was out maybe 5 or 10 minutes. Luckily though the parks and rec people decided not to file a report because it was justifiable for that kid who was twice my size to kick my @%% because i threw sand at him, so we were even
