This guy has little reason to lie. You have no actual reason to say this guy is lying. But he "probably" is?

What I don't see is what reason he has NOT to tell everything he saw. If he can reveal as much as he did without anyone knowing who he is and getting anyone in trouble, he could just as easily tell it all. If he really thinks the movie is so bad, you'd think he'd have really cut loose on it with all the ugly details.

And BTW- as far as fake posts- you actually want to be looking for people who give too much detail. That's usually a good signal of someone who's BSing.

The thing about forums, is people can be WHO or WHAT they want to be, and no one would ever know.....people can say WHATEVER they want and we would never know if it was truth or not....thats the nature of these places...and to say its true or not because of how much is given, or how little is given is beyond me.....these are WORDS....not much else......IMO.....time will tell us the truth.......June 15th, will tell us whether this is true or not....and hey maybe even the trailer to a certain extent....who knows....at this point.....on this board.....the only ones who know are those that are lurking........and reading.....and probably laughing their asses off right now....lmao.

And yet lakiami's SM3 description, which you claim to have known was for real, was VERY detailed.

I'm not claiming. If you look at the thread I was one of the few posters who just after it was started said it looked real, even though I didn't think the story was good. And it was detailed in a very matter of fact way, by someone who was working on the set, not someone who saw the movie once. And he wasn't selling it the way fakes do.

Maybe the cosmic storm in the first film was a break off from the purple galactus cloud kind of like the egg of Galactus. This would mean that was the Silver Surfer being born or forming around our planet. Kind of like that clone in The Last Starfighter. That's it. LOL

VERY little. In fact the ONLY thing he "revealed" was the bit about Galactus being a cloud. The only way we'll know he ws telling the truth is if this turns out to be the case. However if that is NOT the way Galactus appears in the movie, he couldjust say that they just hadn't finished the effects when he saw it.

To me he appears to be using the same tactic that psychics use to con money out of suckers all the time. Throwing out vague general comments that could be true over a broad spectrum of possibilities: "I see you've been thinking about making some changes in your life." "Why, yes! How did you know?" Because EVERYONE is ALWAYS thinking about some change or another they'd like to make.

This guys comments - Reed and Sue still boring (opinion he could continue to claim after the movie comes out because it is a statement based on...opinion), Surfer and Torch have some decent scenes (anyone who's seen the trailer could make his observation) - with the exception of the Galactus comment (which i've already stated how he could explain away in its absence), are the same way: vague, general comments that anyone could have come up with. I could say I've seen the movie and that there is one scene where Johnny plays a pretty funny prank on Ben. Not too hard to believe because he did that in the first film and we know that they have a history of this sort of thing (so odds are there WILL be some scene like this in the film) AND if it there isnt a scene like this in the film I could just say that it must have been cut from the final vrsion.

And before you say it, I also don't know what reason he'd have to try and BS everyone. But as long as we've been on these boards, we KNOW that there are people who DO this sort of think, maybe just to screw with everyone. More than that, I don't see a reason why he wouldn't jut go ahead and tell it all if he actually saw it. Unless he was the only person to have seen the rough cut, how could he (as an annonymous internet poster) possibly get himself or his friend in trouble?

I too was one of the few who blasted lakiami's naysayers who ran him away from the boards. But the reason I believed him ws because he did provide details. This guy made comments that anyone who put a little thought into it could have made.

Time will tell. If Galactus does in fact turn out to be a purple cloud, I will gladly admit i was wrong. Until then I call BS unless he lays out more details.

He also made the comment about Doom still being a business man. As I mentioned before, this is not a spoilery detail, but a telling one, which can be easily verified. So that's a way of proving if this guy is truthful.

But in the end, this simply isn't something worth stressing over. Personally, I know this crew is weak, and I know that as this guy is saying, they haven't learned from the first film simply by what I've already seen.

To be earnest, I think Fox came to the realization that a 'purple could' is disappointing and will probably rework that part of the script. Here's a possibility- the reason why Ioan may have said earlier that Galactus doesn't appear is because he didn't get the subtle hint that the purple cloud is Galactus. Perhaps it just had Galactus' dialogue under something like '???' to increase the mystery. Again, this could just be false. But considering recent events I think it's safe to say they saw people were expecting alot more from Galactus and decided to change the actual design in the concept art stage.
