^ I'd be laughing if I wasn't crying, because it's all true. :(

I wonder if the April issue of Deadpool's cover was Marvel's reaction to the movie's climax... Heck, for all we know, the film's leak could have been a conspiracy that began within Marvel's walls!

hahah! thanks, ive been looking for the "how do i snikt" one

get em in any color you want :D

I don't want the Wade Wilson because I just watched an atrocity. However the Gambit one does deserve some attention.

BY THE WAY:
They never mention the Cancer. Ever.....Ever. And his skin is never scarred or bubbly or anything. He pretty much just has skin over his mouth for no reason, some botchy eyes and lines on his chest. He has a really big head too (because they covered Ryan Reynolds head with a bald cap rather than actually shaving it). He never becomes anything more than....god it was horrible.

Just so you know, we can't go into specifics when talking about the Movie. Any spoilers from the workprint are strictly forbidden. Breaking of the rules can end up in a one week probation or even ban.

You can still voice your opinion whether or not you liked it, just no details.

fixed.

Not just put it in spoiler, get rid of it. Rules have changed. Any details from the work print end up in probation and even ban.

Ya know...I can see how it might have been funny as a gag (pun totally intended) cuz "ha ha THAT shut him up!" and "oh the merc with a mouth is now the merc with out a mouth" make it all good and ironic. But there are so many reasons it doesn't work. The most obvious being...how does he eat? Healing factor or not, the guy would starve to death. If they wanted to shut him up, why not just pierce his vocal chords? Or, just, ya know, manipulate his every actions via some remote control computer? Wait, no, scratch that. It's completely ******ed, even for FOX.

Well in the last issue of X-Force it shows him surviving being trapped in a freezer for hundreds of years, so yeah, the healing factor does make it possible for him to live without eating.

When your frozen, all of your bodily functions stop. It's not physically possible for living things to survive without any sort of sustenance. If Deadpool gets wounded, his body can't just magically repair itself without any building materials, or give him energy to work with no fuel.

It's not physically possible to regenerate like he does in the first place. Arguing semantics is pointless.

um, that's the whole point of the healing factor. That's kind of EXACTLY what it does.

And he wasn't frozen, he was awake the whole time.

I can't wait to see all the one month probays that come with this new, shiny thread. :yay:

It's not just a matter of science, it's common sense. For fiction to be believeable, there has to be an element of truth-- a grounding. The ability to rapidly heal one's self is believable if there are limitations-- for example, just because someone heals rapidly does not mean they don't starve to death, because even a 5th grader knows that the body uses food to build and fuel itself. Just sayin'...

well I was just stating what happened in the comic, but "The ability to rapidly heal one's self" is not believable regardless of the limitations and that's ok. It's fantasy, why must things have to make sense and be believable in fantasy? I'm reading a comic or watching a movie to be entertained and escape from reality for a little while, I really don't care if they're scientific explanations are completely accurate or not. If the writer says that a suped up healing factor makes it possible to survive without food then that's good enough for me.

There sometimes needs to be some logic behind it, regardless of it still not making any sense. Like for example, Barakapool having blades that are longer than his forearms. I can accept him having several super powers, even if I don't like it, but having blades coming out that are longer than his forearms just makes no freaking sense, because he wouldn't be able to bend his arms.

And regarding the comic, i wouldn't have minded if he was frozen 800 years, but being awake all those 800 years with nothing to eat? Even comics have certain set of rules that they have to follow, so not every comic reads like an Alice in Wonderland story.

god, i hope deadpool mentions this piece of **** in his comics

While Deadpool is a character that isn't really close to my heart I am pissed they handled him that way. What is it with "Bad guys with everyones powers?" It's SFIV's Seth all over again. I may have been okay with it if they just didn't sew his mouth.

i was pissed off dude. seriously

That doesn't answer my question, dude. But don't worry about it. I'm sure that's as good an answer as I'm going to get from you.

I know Daniel Way has said he'll see the film and if he feels the need to comment on it he will.

YES!!! i love when the comics and cartoons put something in that smacks the Films right in the face for their horrible errors, and Deadpool would be the perfect comic to do that too haha
