The Same Old Wrestling Thread? It's Never Done That Before!

According to some of WWE's PR Flacks at Wrestlezone, it's Nuanced storytelling :lmao:

Seriously the "Gloves have come off" type promos means jack and Sh__t in the long run if you revert back to flip-flopping and figurative putting the gloves back on.

Yeesh. I've only posted there like once or twice since joining.

I really want to see that Tokyo Dome 3D movie NJPW keeps advertising on their shows.

I was watching YuYu Hakusho yesterday and it was pretty amusing seeing an NJPW PPV being referenced in an anime. Then again, Antonio Inoki himself has had anime appearances so that shouldnt surprise me but it does lol.

Both of these guys will likely be back for guest appearances and programs on the WWE Network

No idea what this means man. you're talking to someone who's see wrestling you can count on one hand in about 11 years.

Meaning that if I had to guess, Their appearances will probably be non-wrestling cameo appearances and they'll be involved with the WWE Network coming out by participating in the original content made for the network.

As for what the Network is, It's a netflix type thing for WWE where you can watch all the old WWF, WCW, ECW shows and PPVs as well as the current stuff along with Documentaries etc.

Wow that sounds awesome the Network part that is. All PPV uncut right?

100% agreed,I support Trips in charge and think he will be a great replacement for Vince some day..As long as he's not on tv in big storylines and doesn't put his ego first when it comes to pushes&de pushes!!

He can't seem to not put his ego first. This whole authority thing seems to make the show revolve around him and his wife.

i think the worst part about the current wwe booking is most of the midcard is so underutilized and misused it's hard to even care about them because wwe creative doesn't care about them

i mean i'm a huge zack ryder fan and i can't even remember his last appearance on raw, and if he was he probably jobbed to del rio or someone

same with dolph, he has the potential to be a big name, but again, pretty much always losing, it's hard to back mid card guys when u know they aren't going to win

They probably think it's too late for Dolph since he's been around a while, has his own opinion on things, and sometimes speaks his mind. I think they want fresh guys from developmental they can mold at every level.

You'd still have to go through Stephanie too, wouldn't you?

Triple H does.

I've come to realize that any program involving HHH nowadays sucks.

Just now?

His track record is spotty. He's been involved in some great stuff by he's also he's also been involved in a lot of ***** compared to "other" greats.

I won't dispute that Triple H has done good things for FCW/NXT, but he's been involved in questionable things over the years. I don't think his feud with Nash in 2011 was necessary at all and that feud being the ultimate end result of the Summer of Punk was just stange. His two hand picked stars from Evolution seemingly getting a WrestleMania main event spot would add to that. I mean John Cena deserves a WrestleMania 30 main event spot a hell of a lot more than Dave Batista. I honestly feel something like Cena vs Undertaker would be bigger than Batista vs pretty much anyone. One movie role doesn't make Batista bigger than the entire roster. I feel like Triple H should have let Sheamus win at WrestleMania 26 as well., because winning at Extreme Rules is not the same in my opinion.

H knows the win at Mania is the one that counts the most. And even though Sheamus "won" at a later ppv I remember it being in such a cockamamie bullsh** way. I'm afraid that the same thing would happen in an HHH/Bryan series of matches.

Plus they're going to stream the full Hall of Fame ceremony on the Network live.

@Metallo: Apprently in NXT, What they do is have the wrestlers pitch suggestions for their gimmicks and the creative team decides if the like the idea or not before approving said gimmick suggestion. Not only that HHH has removed scripted promos from developmental and that's why Bray Wyatt has the liberty to wrote his own promos and submit them to creative....Reportedly

If there is something HHH deserves praise for is his old school mentality and tolerating different types of looks, gimmicks, and physiques for their performers along with different styles. Johnny Ace's dumbass had everyone looking and acting like they came off a Randy Orton assembly line when they got to the main roster.

He needs this look if he comes to WWE. What happened to the Japanese Diesel that used to be his bodyguard?

Bad Luck Fale? He's still around. Not all of the Bullet Club members appear at once like most dominant heel stables like, say, Aces and Eights. Fale tags with Devitt, Doc Gallows, and occasionally Anderson.

Yeah that's him, is he much of a worker? So how does Devitt painting himself like Venom and carnage fit into the Bullet Club gimmick?

He's pretty green, but when he's used for certain spots(big man hot tags), he's fine. I would certainly take him over Daniel and Rolles Gracie "wrestling." Good grief....

As for Devitt painting himself like that, I guess it's for the presentation more than anything else. I know him painting himself like Carnage and having the entrance he had added to the pageantry and spectacle of the Tokyo Dome/Wrestle Kingdom show.

Hogan is almost confirmed to appear on the Raw after Elimination Chamber(2/24/14). Sting is more than likely going to debut after Mania.

It'd be a Wrestlemania moment if after Taker's match, Sting is up there in the rafters. But more than likely, that'll be on RAW when Taker cuts a promo.
