There is way too much mayonnaise discussion going on here...
 
Something to think about. The name of the thread is The Sauce Thread. Yet the conversation is all about condiments. I thought we would be sharing recipes for demi-glace, mac and cheese sauce, tomato sauce, etc.

Ohhh, that's a good one!
 
Cream and Garlic, with a bit of herb, thrown into a pan of freshly drained spaghetti will present you with a lovely Carbonara sauce. Top it with cheese once served (cause cheese belongs on everything).

Add Mayo as an optional extra. ;)
 
For your ravioli, get a sauce pan, some tomato sauce, garlic (not too much!) and some chopped black olives (these will be your salt), some pepper, get your pasta in and... done! You don't want to over cook the tomato, it's not necessary either.

Lots of Parmesan is mandatory.
