The Scream trilogy

I always thought Debbie Salt's character was great. A good throwback to Friday the 13th; not to mention the actress playing her is awesome.

I liked all of them, though 3 was the weakest it still was pretty good and tied it up in a satisfying way (even if they werent allowed to use the originla ending of Neve dying.)

You can keep your "word" and you'll be the only one ever using it as everyone else will be using quadrilogy, the proper term.

(Even if tetralogy means the same thing but f--k linguists. Television is ok but quadrilogy isn't my sweet caboose!)

scream 1 was the best, and it was a blessing and a curse in many ways for horror movies in general.

it gave horror a massive boost and scary movies became popular again in mainstream.

However, with that, came all these copycat crappy horror movies which have now killed the market.

1 was enough.

2 & 3 just rehashed the same thing, only doing it worse.

I actually liked the Scream series. 1 and 2 most of all. 3 was ok too.

all three movies were good imo. but the first one was the best.

I liked all three. The fact that they made fun of slasher movies while being a slasher movie themselves was made them good.

I love the fact that in Scream Wes Craven did a cameo as a janitor named Freddy and wore Freddy Krugger's sweater and glove while cleaning the hall.

And all the rules to surviving a horror movie that they used were great, and oh so true.

I thought they all stunk.Calling them a trilogy is blasphemy to Peter Jackson.Only the following movie franchises have the right to use the word trilogy:
Lord Of The Rings
Star Wars( two trilogies)
Indiana Jones(soon to be a Quadrology.My word, you heard it here first)
Matrix
Jurassic Park( see Indiana Jones)
Back to the Future
and the only comedy trilogy Naked Gun

/shrug any franchise that has 3 movies can be called a 'trilogy' Seriously though; you forgot the Bourne trilogy,saw franchise(quad),aliens,blade,but thats for another thread).
The first 2 Scream movies were okay,somewhat funny,but that routine got old really fast. I hope they dont do anymore,unless they can absolutely make it funny..

Scream 3 was the weakest of the trilogy, but was still good enough to not shame the other movies.

And I maintain that the opening in Scream is arguably one of the best openings to a horror movie ever conceived.
