The Screenwriting Thread

It's free to write one screenplay and post it for peer review. If you want to write more than one, you have to subscribe.

Nope. You can write one complete screenplay and it's absolutely free. Make it 500 pages long if you want. Check the site out for yourself.

Okay I have three scripts.

one is 118 pages and the other is 81 pages and the one i'm working on is currently 45 pages.

J Alba's Lover, I would actually be interested in reading one of your's. :woot:
How is everybody else coming along?

We can talk about teleplays and pilots here right. Cause I took a break from my screenplay and am working on a tvshow right now.

Good. You can add words to it that you don't already know. HOWEVER, you have to subscribe to the site for spellcheck, the ability to print your work, and the ability to have mutiple scripts on your profile. But writing one complete screenplay and publishing it for feedback is free.

Luckily for all of us, I hear there's this new invention called "the dictionary." So, just write and don't worry so much about features!

Call me dumbo but how do you get the scriptbuddy workstation to work?

It says
"Start by adding characters and scenes
using the '+' icons on the right"

I used that little thing and i put what they wanted in I saved it and then nothing showed up even though i saved it.

Add a scene by clicking the "+" icon in the outline section at the top right.

I got it now. I figured it out now. you have to do it piece by piece.

I thought it would just be like you copy your work into the thing and its done.

Yeah, I like it a lot during the re-writing stage. I just polish my script as I'm transferring it.
