Now there is new meaning to the slogan "See You in December." This is great! I love what they're doing with the marketing for this movie.

Now, about the slogan...

I like it. It seems that the Joker is going for that "undead" thing. He's a ghost - someone who isn't supposed to be alive. It makes his nature more mysterious, and his origin all the more unknown. It also explains his "appearence" at the end of Batman Begins. Great move on the part of whoever thought this up.

This is Amazing, it blends reality with fantasy . . . I hope we don't have some "Joker" take this to the next level.

If we can use the Superman Returns marketing roadmap as an indicator, the teaser came out around ComicCon too, and they showed acutal footage at Wizard World. Then we got a ton of images between the teaser and trailer. I think the first trailer hit around November though.

I would not be at all suprised, given the way that they have been timing these ARG's, if we got something in and around Halloween. It would fit the pattern (aprils fools, something about every 3 months). However I don't think it will be a big something. Maybe just another photo, or a simple game to keep folks interested. December I think will bring a theatrical trailer.

What were they planning in December? Perhaps the knife photo? With all the spy pics that have leaked recently of Heath as the Joker, perhaps they rushed the knife pic out 4 months early.

The police report claimed that they had killed the Joker, who was said to be found with a playing card with "See you in december" written on it, and that everyone could rest easy now that he was dead and not have to worry about it.
