The Simpsons game is ugly

Now I'm not one to be overly critical of a games graphics. But holy ****, these graphics are ass.

You'd be forgiven for thinking someone drew those ugly pictures in MS Paint.

The game is still in production, man...and ugly compared to what? It looks just as good or better as all of the other Simpsons games.


And those screens aren't what you should judge the game's true graphical power by.

and BTW, this is a SIMPSONS game. The world is not detailed. It's only bright colors and simple shapes.

I guess you've never played Windwaker? That was years ago, and yet its miles ahead of this ugly looking game.

Eh...To each his own I guess.

The final product is what's most important. I'm not saying that the game looks flawless or anything. I'm just saying that there's not much more that they can do and not make it look like a Simpsons game straight out of the cartoons.

Yea, that really doesnt look that bad.

The scenery looks fine. The houses and stuff, that all looks good.

The character models need alot of work. Don't come at me with "this is how the show looks", because it's not. And "it's simple colours and shades" isn't a good excuse either because Windwaker, a game that came out years ago on a significantly less powerful console, looked so much better.

It looks nothing like the show. It looks like someone drew the show's buildings and characters on MS Paint Brush.

Actually, I think that it looks fairly impressive. They captured the look of the show very well.

And LOL Tom Jackson. He's in GTAIV, too.

The finished product of that actually looks about the same quality than the character models of this game And before anyone says "what do you expect??", again I say WINDWAKER! And the dozen other amazing looking cell shaded games.

While I don't necessarily think that The Simpson's Game looks horrible, and I won't buy it, but I'm planning on renting it and giving it a shot; I do agree there is better looking product on lesser hardware.

Look at Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass that is for the DS. It looks far better than the Simpon's Game, and it's on a handheld.

Sorry but comparing this to Windwaker is ridiculous.
The reason Windwaker looks so much better is because more detail was put into the background of that game, meaning everything had texture and pattern. If you just compare the Link from that game to this game, there's not much if any difference.

Like I said before, there's not much else that they can do without it not looking like the show. The show doesn't look like Zelda, so I don't know why the game should.

I agree. It has its own style, and looks pretty cool
