It was 20 years ago today when The Simpsons debuted on FOX. The premiere episode was Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire. It was the Christmas episode where Homer gives Santa's Little Helper as a gift to the family.

I havent watched Simpsons since i was about twenty , i'm starting to feel old. They have done such an amazing job for that show to still be on the air.

We'll be doing the same thing in 20 years....as the show hits the big 40.

Happy Birthday Simpsons!

I wish you had died a few years ago...

20 years wow, I still remember 'Do The Bartman' song which was sort of neat back in the 90's but lame hearing it now.

I liken Simpsons at 20 to an arthritic, demented mess of a dog that should have been dragged out back and shot when it reached 12 or so.

Sounds about right to me.

I haven't watched this show in years...it's so bad(well, peeps say it is) that I don't watch it at all. Hell, Bart and lisa are still kids and Maggie is a damn baby still. :cmad: GROW THE **** UP!

I'm still enjoying the show, and it's still far more entertaining than most of the shows on TV (Fox especially).
