Arrow The Slade Wilson/Deathstroke Thread!

A tiny part of me is holding out hope that there's more to this than Shado and his eye.

liking the eye patch. would've liked a completely gray haired slade, but i figured it was either him or ra's. glad their not going full batman here.

Episode tonight was so awesome! Anyone else seen this I ran across it on ebay I hope they use this look

Slade looked awesome in the present and I loved seeing him destroy Ivo's men. January can't come soon enough.

Not a fan of "corporate" Slade. He should've been more "street" as a juxtaposition to our previous big bad.

Why do I get the feeling that when Slade finally confronts Ivo, he (Ivo) will make it look like Oliver chose for Shado to die in order to save Sara, thus setting Slade in a rampage that most likely leads to why Oliver thought Sara had died on the island as well....and eventually, we'll see Oliver take out Slade's eye as a means of avenging Sara.

Either way though, I'm afraid they're going to use Shado and Oliver's failure to save her as a means of why Slade comes to hate Oliver, which I think is pretty weak considering that they just pretty much forced the idea that Slade was in love with Shado.

Still, it's a bit better than having Ollie and Slade fight over the affection of Shado on the island.

To Slade in choosing Sara Ollie chose to save a stranger over a comrade.

The three of them have been through a lot together on the island, forming a bond that should be stronger than Ollie's infatuation with his girlfriends sister. In a way, he knows Shado and Slade better then he knew Sara at the time. And yet he let Shado die.

When I look at it like this, it's not that bad. Also Slades ghost saying "You're not a friend, you're not a brother" kinda implies this. I'm sure there will be more to it as we learn more in the flashbacks.

That actually makes sense when you put it that way.

Still sucks to see Shado go, especially like you said, they've been through a lot together. To see Shado having survived all of that crap with Fryers only to die like this...and yeah, this is definitely better than them fighting over Shado for her affections, ala Smallville style.

On another note, I bet Manu must have been happy to have a change in pace for him where he doesn't have to wear the same military get-up and film within a a hot and humid forest.lol

Man, I really, really hope they'll flesh out the falling out between Ollie and Slade. This whole having feelings for Shado doesn't sit right with me. As for corporate Slade, I don't have much of an issue with it. I feel like they put a bit of Teen Titan Cartoon Slade into the mix. So he's not just a simple merc, but he's responsible for some of the bigger plot lines on the show.

Well, it was Oliver's fault that he got half his face burned off as well. It looks like they're going more with "shadowy criminal mastermind" Slade from the TT cartoon rather than mercenary Slade from the comics.

i wonder how long Slade has known that Oliver has been off the Island? and Why did he fake his death? I also wonder if Malcom would help Oliver if Slade went after his sister? What ever Slade's endgame on the day it enacted he's going to need every ally and maybe quasi enemies to stop him.

Maybe Malcolm and Oliver will team up to take Slade down, only for them to get their asses handed to them

I'm wondering if Slade is somehow connecting to the League of Assassins?

Was it just me or was there something wrong with slades right hand, the camera seem to focus a lot on that

^ It wasn't wrapped around Ollies throath for one thing.

But yeah it seemed like maybe he had a tick or something.

It just seemed like they tried to focus on something, before finally showing us his face. I don't really think there was anything to it. Just a bit of a Dr. Claw moment.

I'm am a little annoyed that Shado had to be fridged in order for this conflict to be set up. It's an unfortunate trend in comics and I was kind of hoping that they'd avoid it on this show.

I was hoping to see her back, 5 years later, with a little boy in her arms.

Nah, we needed to see how crazy that doctor was. Total Physco
