The sliding timescale

The Human Torch doesn't really look any older than Sue. Of course, Sue still looks like she's in her 20s, like every other comic book superheroine.

Depends on who's drawing them. I rather liked Ringo's take on Sue and Johnny. She looked her age and still looked beautiful, and he looked a few years younger.
 
Ringo does draw Sue with some nice, child-bearing hips. I like that. She looks like she's actually had a couple of kids.

Exactly. She had that...mom waist going on. Not exactly a fupa, but not an 18 year old supermodel, either.

weird.. id always thought of stark being older than ben or reed
