Watching this cartoon again, I'm enjoying it a lot.
This show left its legacy on modern comics, from mayor Jameson to keeping him alive in Spider-Verse.

I haven't watched very many episodes, but the Spider-Man vs. Ice Aliens that land on Liberty Island always tripped me out lol.

That's the only way of putting it. Place the random, absurd images in it aside and you have a great (albeit satirical) tribute to a fun show.

Which reminds me that the soundtrack is still outstanding.

Lol I just rewatched it and couldn't stop laughing. It just opens up with Spider-Man twerking to the theme song.

They also make use of subliminal messaging. 4 seconds in, there is a quick flash--I found the frame and it says "Avert Your Eyes Children."

Thankfully, they make them better.
I can always appreciate the goofiness of season 1.

I tried getting through the show and even own the DVD, but I could not get through it without walking around my apartment and spending time online. The show is really tedious, at least if you watch from start to finish.
