Horror The Strangers

So then not that cool, obviously.

Sounds boring. But cant wait for this movie. May 30th!

This seems to have the whole Halloween vibe going for it. Creepy minimal masks + unfeeling sociopaths + couple out in cabin in middle of nowhere woods= win.

I just don't want to be let down, which is all too the case for so many damn horror movies coming out recently. :csad:

I have a pretty bad feeling about this movie's reception and overall success at the box office, reviews aside. I wish it would've come out sooner and not have to contend with Indy. Most people I don't think are even aware of it, which is a shame.

And I want a Strangers smile...

Reception? That's what reviews and comments are. All who have seen this film and reviewed/commented on it have had nothing but good things to say.

This is a horror film, and horror films have fans who want to see horror films. Don't get the impression that just because Indiana Jones is out that all the people who would've went to The Strangers will go there.

Regarding box office, the budget is VERy small ($10 million) so it won't take much to make all that back. Horror films rarely make a lot of money, anyway.

Don't worry about it.

Indiana Jones isn't what it has to worry about. It has to worry about Sex in the city it comes out the same day.

I think they had this movie so long and just wanted to release it and get it out instead of holding it a little bit longer.

I see tv spots alot for this. it should make atleast a good 7-10 million hopefully opening week..

I was strictly talking about the financial aspect. I know it has a few good reviews under its belt already. I shouldn't have of used the term reception. And I really don't think Sex and the City is going to be some huge success like most do.

How about the tormentors becoming the tormented? Have the couple be martial arts masters and cannibals. Just a thought :)

M. Night Shaymalan comes out of nowhere too say one thing!...'Twist'

If that is the end of the movie.. I would be so confused.
