Horror The Strangers

Thanks, JAL. I'll be buying this baby on Blu Ray.
No problem its one of the if not best movie of its genre to hit theaters this year. Only problem is i think the covers horrible and could have done better.

Its alright, id rather have the three of them standing over the couple that JAL used to have as an avatar.

Ah. I should have seen this when it first came out but alas, I'm glad I did anyway. I saw it twice, thinking I'd make it on time for the first viewing but I ended up missing the first 20 mins of it. So I went for a walk around the area for an hour and then came back to the theater. The movie was awsome. Scary, suspenseful. I even jumped a few times.

What I don't get is why would anybody bring their baby to the movie?? Gawd...the baby should have been left at home - that way I wouldn't have had to hear it cry while watching the movie.

Anywho, I felt very bad towards the end for the couple but mostly for kristen and yeah... so much stabbing :( and blood. :o

The ending... I dunno ... I'm not really sure about the ending.

Some great thought here, I felt Liv was at her best in this film...

DVD is coming out on the 21st of October. Sweet. Plus, The Incredible Hulk is coming out on the same day. Wowzers.

Yeah, its been known for a while the strangers is coming out October 21st.

Well, I couldn't help but mention it. The internet service was down over a week so I was left with nothing else to do but play video games on my computer. :csad:

Rogue Eyes Strangers Sequel

Variety says that Rogue Pictures is moving forward with a sequel to its summer hit The Strangers and has set Bryan Bertino to return to write the script.

Bertino wrote the original and made his directing debut on the film; it's yet to be determined whether he'll helm the sequel.

The expectation is that Liv Tyler, along with several of the original villains, will return. Production is being slated for early 2009.

Budgeted at $9 million, the film grossed $54 million domestically in a highly competitive summer release slot.

Bertino is also scripting to direct Black, a character-driven thriller with supernatural elements, and is rewriting to direct the thriller Alone. Both are for Rogue.

How the hell wuold Liv Tyler return? Thats stupid.

Hmm, if there's a sequel I hope they don't mess it up :csad: I'm one of the few people I know in real life who thoroughly enjoyed this movie...it had such a great classic suspense/slasher feel to it  I was genuinely scared for parts of it.

... Liv is returning? ... but.

I havn't seen reports of her confirming she'll return - I mean... I read that she would like to do another horror film.

I dunno if I like this or not. I mean the ending *scratches his head* - sure it was scary and all but how can someone who was stabbed a few times still live?

Maybe she'll be in flashbacks or something.

Liv was annoying in the movie anyways. She was the reason they got killed in the first place. :o

Naw. She wasn't but I thought she was at her best in this film, aside from the LOTR films as Arwen Undomiel Evenstar.

maybe they should do a lotr horror film ... haha. heh...nvm.
