Well looks like the reports for a trailer were off by 1 day.

Wow I had no idea they were dropping a trailer for this so soon but I guess it makes sense if they want to play it Infront of Deadpool and The Wolverine. Anyways, this actually looks a lot better than I thought it would based on all the behind the scenes drama with the reshoots.

Im definitely getting TWS vibes from this so far and Giancarlo looks pretty badass in his role.

I'm looking forward to getting a more grounded, more serious Marvel movie again. Marvel's got a nasty habit of misleading us with the tone of their movies with their trailers but something tells me they are aiming for Winter Soldier with this and it wont be all jokey jokes this time. This looks like the movie I WANTED Black Widow to be.

I'm trying to remember what was the last movie I saw Liv Tyler in... Ad Astra? Before that I think it was Robot & Frank which was like 10 years ago.

Surprisingly, I liked that trailer. It's well edited, granted it's clearly trying to hide a lot of stuff considering it showed off like only two real set pieces, most of which probably were pre-reshoot stuff.

Back end of the trailer once we get outside looks like standard Marvel flare, and looks excessively digital. Harrison Ford Red Hulk will sure be something.

Also, It looks like the Giancarlo plays a heavy role in this movie, I'm guessing the reshoots heavily rewrote him into the film because he was just cast months ago.

I'm like 95% sure all those clips were from the same scene (most likely the opening prologue), and are just being edited that way to be misleading.

I mean, TWS had an 80+ year old with a metal arm mind controlled into fighting Captain America, Toby Jones playing the role of an evil tape deck, and a fleet of death stars airships ready to simultaneously assassinate every good person in the country got casually reprogrammed by putting a usb stick in a random unguarded computer terminal hanging on a catwalk above a huge, blatantly uesless transparent viewing bubble on the underside of the ship. Plus regular dude Frank Grillo got literally run over by a helicarrier and survived.

You can make any cbm sound wacky and over the top out of context. We just have to wait and see what the actual context of this one will be.

Seeing as she'll be a CIA Agent named Ruth, I think most of the s*** has hit the fan already, as only comics fans will know the character's history, and we all already know she's in the movie

Not exactly what I read from those rumors, but pretty close.

Yeah, but I would argue those are all more grounded than Gamma monsters

Really hope this is more "Winter Soldier" than "Secret Invasion".

Not sure how I'll feel about watching a CGI Harrison Ford Hulk but we shall see.

I’m happy with the first trailer (could have been a lot worse with all the production issues) and that the tone feels TWSish. That element itself would have been probably top of my list of wants ahead of time.

I'm more excited for Thunderbolts than Cap 4 anyway but for some reason I'm expecting a lighter tone from that since Julia Louis Dreyfus is playing a significant part in it and Yelena and Red Guardian aren't the most serious characters, especially the latter.

Its got the freaking Red Hulk. In fact, it seems to be a major part of the movie, given the poster. And as much as I criticize Black Widow for the big cgi finale it had, it at least made a bit more sense than tossing a Hulk into a Cap movie.

Marvel has had issues with the basics of green screen since at least Ragnarok. It is really weird.

I'd even say before then going back to Civil War, although it wasn't as bad as some of their more recent movies. It must all boil down to taking on more movies per year starting in Phase 3, shorter VFX post turnaround times, etc.
