The Superhero Cinematic Civil War: The SUMC Was In The Amazon With My Mom Studying Spiders Right Before It Died - Part 61

Do the Golden Globes even matter anymore?

they do now!

Aside from a few things that got nominated, it's a wild year.

Alien Romulus getting a Cinematic and Box Office Achievement nomination over Dune: Part Two is a choice.

It is but also kinda tells you what that award is meant for...

I’d personally take a Golden Globe any day of the week.

Pamela Anderson, Nicole Kidman and Angelina competing in the SAME acting category.

I watched Super/Man last night and fair warning everybody, keep the tissues close for this one. The waterworks started for me about 10 minutes in when Robin Williams showed up (he's all over this, btw).

Christopher and Dana Reeve's story ended in such tragedy but the good that they've done and also what his kids have carried on is extraordinary. I highly recommend this doc. Probably the best one of its kind since the Mr. Rogers one from some years back.

Well deserved.

I’m going to be so conflicted between Farrell and Cooper Koch for Monsters, because they both gave damn good performances.

Was kind of hoping Nicholas Chavez would get nominated too! He was awesome!

Still think it’s funny both he and Cooper want to be in Luca’s American Psycho. Kind of more intrigued by that than Sgt. Rock but looking forward to both.

Chavez definitely got snubbed. Poor guy got naked for Ryan Murphy all those times for naught.

Still crossing my fingers that he gets Psycho and a superhero gig.

Definitely see him as Nightwing.

I just cannot muster enthusiasm for the Globes at this point. Wake me up when we got Oscar Nominations :o

I haven’t seen The Substance yet but I’m pretty sure I’d put it over Smile 2. I didn’t like it as much as the first one and the overacting and third act dragged it down.

Holiday-Themed Comic Book Movies Entry # 3

Shazam! (2019)

Funny, I found this absolutely charming the first time I saw it, but it just didn't hold up upon re-watch.

I wish I were one of those people who could easily separate the artist from the art, but alas this seems to be a flaw in my critical eye...

And I’m ready to throw hands.

If they really turn fool and give us a Channing Tatum Gambit movie, it’s all our faults for helping Deadpool crack a billion.

I dont know if Gambit is gonna get his own solo branded movie. But I see Tatum playing him in the MCU moving forward
