2 new minor additions. Not much... but it's something.

I'm assuming that Rebel was the goth chick in the trailer? Can anyone confirm this?

Double confirmation. Alrighty then...

I liked the little bit she had. I found it funny.

Would have been funnier if she had just a little acting ability. :(

She played it straight and it works.

Didn't for me. I know I could deliver that line better than she did. But since this footage wasn't an "official" release I hope that some of the footage has some bad takes that are not going to be used in the movie.

you know what could work? they keep that scene as it is....but have it playing on Blaze's TV in his home. that way you mostly see his reaction to the news report and hear the dialogue from the interview. just show the 1st part of the interview on the TV....where Roxanne asks the girl the question and right before she answers :D

No sorry. The whole scene was was pretty much badly acted...including Mendes. She did fine with all of the other scenes when she wasn't acting like a reporter. Rebel Wilson delivered the line "it was all flames and stuff" pretty well but everything else that came out of her mouth was a very bland delivery. I am not bashing this movie guys but this trailer wasn't perfection. Everything was amazing...just a few badly delivered lines from Wilson and Mendes...that's all.

well i agree w/ you on the delivery of both actresses...however if given the situation where they absolutely needed that scene i would rather just hear most of the dialogue rather then seeing them actually give it.
i would prefer them redo the scene ....it doesnt look right to me.

Well maybe like I said since this wasn't the "official" trailer those could have just been bad takes.

If it was that bad, they can always re-record it in a studio. They seem to do that an awful lot in movies.

see thats the problem...she was wasnt acting imo. she was simply saying her lines.
im not expecting a master thespian here....just something that looks like an attempt. i didnt get that.
i dont know...we havent seen that entire scene yet and that scene (or at least how that scene was done) might not end up in the film. there is still an entire year for post production to be done.

I am with you Biggun. She isn't acting. She is just reading the lines. Anyone can do that. It sounds bland. But whatever.

I don't get how that was bad acting...?

If I was talking to a friend, it would sound kinda like that...

Maybe I'm a bad judge on bad acting.

That is the thing. We are not paying to see people "talk" we are paying to see people act. And your telling me if after you had seen Ghost Rider and a reporter came up to you that you would sound like she did??

Guys, I'm sure she was directed to say the lines that way... and I still think it works perfectly. It's funny. It's supposed to be said straight like that to make it funny. Plus, she's also trying to get accross that she's a goth chick and these people are very apathetic about everything... even a flamin' headed demon.

I do like your idea BG about having it play on a TV though. It's likely that it will be like that in some way.

That's how I interpretted it. It's supposed to be a dry, deadpan sort of delivery. I thought her gesturing the flames was a nice touch, as well.

Me too, i actually have some goth friends, and they act even more...uhm dead like :D

I don't care who you are or what your like. If you see Ghost Rider in action there is no way a person would be so dry and dull. She is just talking...period. It is a movie...so act...haha. She could put some kind of effort into and still sound like a depressed goth. But her and Mendes trying to be a reporter were the only minor flaws I saw so I am not worried a bit. Everything else was kickass. :ghost:

Ah well, not everyone is going to like everything about the movie.

You have to realize that this goth chick probably didn't think Ghost Rider burning skull was real. She was probably taking it as some sort of new Gothic wave or something. She did say "He has a Rad chopper"... which means that crazy lookin' think didn't faze her as well.

Also, we have no idea how Ghost Rider and her met. If Ghost Rider saved her or something, then she's not going to fear him. Anyway, I still think it's funny... but again, that's just me.

IMDB has Angry Anderson as part of the cast in Ghost Rider.
