FlameHead said:Double confirmation. Alrighty then...
I liked the little bit she had. I found it funny.
FlameHead said:She played it straight and it works.
RedIsNotBlue said:Didn't for me. I know I could deliver that line better than she did. But since this footage wasn't an "official" release I hope that some of the footage has some bad takes that are not going to be used in the movie.
BIGGUN said:you know what could work? they keep that scene as it is....but have it playing on Blaze's TV in his home. that way you mostly see his reaction to the news report and hear the dialogue from the interview. just show the 1st part of the interview on the TV....where Roxanne asks the girl the question and right before she answers![]()
BIGGUN said:well i agree w/ you on the delivery of both actresses...however if given the situation where they absolutely needed that scene i would rather just hear most of the dialogue rather then seeing them actually give it.
i would prefer them redo the scene ....it doesnt look right to me.
RedIsNotBlue said:No sorry. The whole scene was was pretty much badly acted...including Mendes. She did fine with all of the other scenes when she wasn't acting like a reporter. Rebel Wilson delivered the line "it was all flames and stuff" pretty well but everything else that came out of her mouth was a very bland delivery. I am not bashing this movie guys but this trailer wasn't perfection. Everything was amazing...just a few badly delivered lines from Wilson and Mendes...that's all.
MarvelMovies said:I don't get how that was bad acting...?
If I was talking to a friend, it would sound kinda like that...
Maybe I'm a bad judge on bad acting.
FlameHead said:Guys, I'm sure she was directed to say the lines that way... and I still think it works perfectly. It's funny. It's supposed to be said straight like that to make it funny. Plus, she's also trying to get accross that she's a goth chick and these people are very apathetic about everything... even a flamin' headed demon.
KenK said:That's how I interpretted it. It's supposed to be a dry, deadpan sort of delivery. I thought her gesturing the flames was a nice touch, as well.
