I don't know, I do enjoy Venom and Carnage.....but because of their popularity they just might explode everywhere...so I really don't know....IMO its more important to have Gobby, Doc Ock, The Lizard, Kraven, and many of Spidey's rouge gallery than the symbiotes. Although it might be cool to have Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady as secondary characters....but I am really unsure.

Carnage would be hard to do in Pg-13, just because of his violent nature. He's a graphic character.

Venom could work in a movie, but to make him work well, they need to do what the 90's TAS did and SSM did, and that's build Eddie Brock up first. Brock, in the comics, was basically just thrown in with a very lame reason as to why he hated Spider-man. Both the following cartoons improved upon that. Now we have a lot of material you could use to make Brock a compelling character first, and then introduce him.

Personally, I think it would work best if you had Brock as a supporting character for at least three movies, and then introduce the symbiote in 4 and Venom in movie 5. I think it could work if you do symbiote in 3 and Venom in 4, but I'd like to see other characters first, and give the general public more time to forget Spider-man 3.

Again, the trick is, they need to keep Venom to the basics. His first story in the comics (aside from his lame introduction) was actually quite good. I liked the dynamic of Venom stalking and toying with Peter. It makes him menacing, and visually Venom could look amazing on screen.

But don't try and cram Venom and Brock in one movie. Build up Brock. If they're smart they'll have him as a supporting character. They don't have to make him Venom, but if they want to, at least we'll have a set basis for the character this time.

I don´t want Venom in the 3 first films, i want eddie as a supporting character, bu the villain i want for the 3rd movie is the green goblin.

After Spider-Man 3, they should stay completely away from symbiotes of any kind for the first three films.

If they are going to do Venom, bring Brock in one movie prior and spend some time building him up. Make him a young man, an ESU Undergrad maybe who went to school with Peter when both were younger (not exactly friends, but one-and-off rivals in some things).

Then for the symbiote movie do the whole story in one go. Peter gets the suit and then loses it 2/3 of the way through, Brock becomes Venom and then is killed off at the end of the movie.

I think, just for the sake of being different, that instead of Venom, have Carnage as the symbiote. I'm tired of the over saturation of Venom in comics and other mediums.

I would defo say to be. But only for like the 4th or better yet 5th film. Build Brock up over time have him be a rival with peter for 2 and a half movies then slowly start his downfall. like say half way through the 3rd film just have JJ yelling at Brock. literately one scene though then in the 4th one do the black suit but have him keep it until he gets rid of it right at the end and have brock in the church bam cliff hanger ending.

Yeah it will take forever to do it, but in the end the payoff would be huge. If they did it right in the first place we would now be on Spidey 4 where the venom stuff starts happening.

SM1 - Lizard
SM2 - Mysterio ( Green Goblin hinted heavily at the end )
Sm3 - Green Goblin
SM4 - Kraven / Vulture / Black cat supporting
SM5 - Electro / Shocker
SM6 - Venom
SM7 - Doc Ock / Sinister six. Mysterio , Vulture, Electro, Shocker, Kraven/ Return of Green Goblin ( revealed at the end he put the S6 Together )

well, i'm dissapointed of one thing: they could have done something really great with venom in the 3rd but they didn't. they set up man-wolf for the whole 2nd film, they could have just made JOHN JAMESON venom! wouldn't THAT be cool? BUT-they can do something different here-like doing something like web of shadows and have venom or carnage as the patient zero of the symbiote! thing web of shadows mixed with maximum carnage mixed with the ultimate psider-man game and you got the perfect symbiote film! get eddie brock in jail with a sample of a symbiote accidently attached to him, have his cellmate to be suicidal, psychopathic serial killer kletus kassidy, and when it goes all over brock, it can get into his recently healed slit wrists, and there ya go-venom and carnage! maybe sam witwer for brock (he was iffy in smallville, but BRILLIANT in dexter) and skeet ulrich, jackie earle haley or robert knepper as carnage?

Agreed! A chance for a really kick-ass scene to introduce the symbiote as well as a backdrop for a really cool fight/action scene for Spider-Man.. wasted.

And in it's place we got "stealth Meteor" delivery route.

I'm a Venom fan too. I loved him in 3. All that was sucky was him not being around long enough. Other than that, he was awesome.

I'd like to see symbiote Spidey done well in a sequel & Venom done in another.. have the movie end with Peter removing the suit.. the symbiote finds it's way to Eddie, slight glimpse of Venom or something and cut to darkness.

I'm a huge GG/Norman and Venom fan, and I hated Raimi's Venom version. I really thought(more hoped) that Sam would re-invent the character, given he said in countless interviews leading up to SM3; that, he didn't like the character, didn't quite understand the character, didn't understand why fans adore the character, found the character uninteresting and hollow, and thought Eddie Brock's character was shallow. So, I obvious thought he would re-invent the character and take advantage of his horror roots to base the character more on McFarlene, and less Bendis.

I was wrong..... obviously.
